This screen is exactly what I wanted to be able to work in the garage and not have to deal with flies and mosquitos. I can just walk right through the magnetic seam and right back in and know that it is just going to work. Rolling it up isn't difficult, but it a bit does take some effort to keep it straight while doing so. It is a little long for the garage opening, but I actually like that. This is a great screen that covers my single car garage door perfectly. The magnetic opening is strong and stays closed well. I didn't think the adhesive stuck to my wood trim very well, but you can get lots of things to help secure the velcro to the wood. The issue I have is when I need to open the screen to get my car in and out. I drive an SUV and there is no way to get in or out of the garage without having to undo the velcro from the sides and roll it up. There are clips at the top to keep it secured, but it is an absolute mess and looks awful no matter how you roll it. The left and right pieces are just too large to neatly/tightly roll up and store. We have similar screens over our doorways and those have straps on the sides that hold the screen open. Not sure why I didn't think about this not being an option for the garage screen when I bought it. If you plan to get this screen and hang it over a garage space that does not require you to remove/roll up each day then this will be perfect for you. I park my car in the garage every day and it's just not practical to keep up at all times and have to deal with undoing the velcro and rolling it up each time I go in or out in the car. Over the weekends when I don't have to get in the car on a consistent basis, I've kept the screen up and it's been great. Unfortunately, I have to take the screen completely off and store it in the garage until I'm ready to use it again. It also comes with push pins to help secure it, but I realized after adding 6-8 pins across the top that I wouldn't be able to take the screen off unless those came out as well. It's really not a huge deal, but I was hoping to be able to leave it up like our door screens and pull it to the sides when not needed. That's not really an option if you have to pull the car in and out frequently. Maybe with a smaller car that can fit through the opening without undoing the velcro, but not with a wide SUV like mine. ... show more

Absolutely worth every penny. I get to hang out in my garage all day without people trying to peep in and look at what I doing. It creates a private space with great air flow. I used a simple staple gun on the wood frame around the garage door to secure the screen. Now when I bought this I told myself the second late fall hits I'm taking it down. Till good weather. Ya no that shit stayed up all winter in ohio. And zero rips or snags The staples work beyond perfect. This screen also comes with it's very own entertainment. When new people come up to it they look all around for a zipper. Bishhhh please just walk on in with yo bad self the shits magnetized no need to stop beauty when it's flowin. Purchased to use on porch in apartment unit. Fit perfectly, works well to keep insects out so we (and the cat) can enjoy the door open. It helps keep cat in as well, however, we also purchased a plastic netted barrier prior to keep the cat from skipping through the bars. Double protection, she can't jump over if she got the mind too. Several individuals have stopped to ask where I purchased. I have forwarded the link and they have purchased as well. We are happy with this purchase. It's been up for several days. The magnetic closure works but any gust will easily separate the magnets allowing dust, debris and any nearby insects to enter. The fix is to add stronger magnets in the construction. The instructions are in the substandard English that has become all to common. For instance an important caution about how to position the velcro to the house ends without a complete sentence. The appearance is acceptable from near and far. The screen of course darkens the door when down. So your garage door will no longer match the house. My garage door gets full afternoon mid Atlantic sun and so will the screen. Time will tell regarding withstanding mother nature. This and all such screens are best for a car-less garages. The strong velcro will make it burdensome to raise and lower. If you do use your garage for a car I suggest you try the solid screens that ride on tracks. Those are well over $1000. This is a $50 experiment to see the benefits of a screened opening before considering a $$$$ one. Given three stars because it is unproven and the strength of the magnetic closure is lacking. ... show more

I bought a different brand first that wasn't made right so I returned it and got this one. So. Much. Better. The weights in the bottom sewn into the edge make it hang perfectly. The magnets along the middle edge close it perfectly. The installation would be way easier with two people but I figured it out with just myself. Just be careful carrying car parts or whatever that you don't snag the mesh. Its very durable (i've left it up through wind storms) but its not invincible so a sharp piece of metal dragged along the screen will cut it. Overall for a few dollars extra this one is WAY better than the other one I got first. ... show more
