Good product for sure, but came with the cover not latched on to the two pins. I was able to push through one side but the other side wouldn’t move into place. I didn’t want to break the cover and had to use a file to lightly grind the triangular entry in the cover to slide it past the pin. Programming was super easy for my Genie Pro. Chose 1 from the chart for the type and it worked on first try. Recommended with caution when inserting the cover onto the keypad.

This keypad is not the OEM pad that comes with some garage door openers, but it looks much the same. And it works much the same. My favorite feature is the ability to close the door by just hitting the Enter key. This is by contrast to those that require you to key in the passcode to just close the door. “Really, it’s open! I need the code to close it?” I just installed it on a new Chamberlain opener, and it was very easy and it worked the first time. The instructions are clear and large enough for old eyes. I don’t know what else I could have wanted from it. Oh, the door is a bit stiff and has to be manually closed. That might change after a while, but I’d prefer one to just drop closed when released. You don’t want it stuck open.

For the price point of these, it's a no brainer to get one. I use my keypad all the time when I'm working out in the yard etc. I have a lift master branded remote on another garage door and I actually like this one better. I like that the keys beep, because on my other keypad you never know if the button presses are registering. This was easy to set up. It took about 2 minutes to run through the setup process and get the keypad paired to the garage opener and then another minute to shoot 2 screws into the door frame. This uses 9 volt battery, which I'm not a huge fan of vs rechargeables but they also last forever in things like this, so no big deal. This works great and such a nice option to have on hand for under $20.

We have a winner! It was a simple two screw install came with an included 9 volt battery. The instructions were super easy to follow for my red/orange button lift master. I had it programmed and installed in under 5 minutes. It works great and have used it multiple times so far.
