I got this gaming PC to replace my Steamdeck because the latter has annoyances when running windows games. For one thing, the AceMagician takes up a whole lot less desk space. It also boots to windows so much faster. Like twice as fast. The led pattern is adjustable with a utility that you have to download from a link. The power button is also a knob you can turn to change the performance of the PC. Turn left for less fan (quiet), and turn right for more performance. App launches feel snappy. I played overwatch 2 on it, and I got pretty solid 75fps on it @2560x1440 medium settings. Wifi connect is superb with low latency for the games. Really like the sleekness of the PC. The media could not be loaded. I'm really impressed with this machine! I originally purchased it with the intention of using it as a Plex server, because it's quite powerful in a small form factor - it has a great CPU and GPU. However, while I still had Windows installed, I decided to test out some gaming on it - I installed Fortnite and was able to get a stable FPS with great graphics settings. I was so impressed with it that I ended up keeping it as a mini gaming PC. Might have to get a second one for my media server... I'm primarily a console gamer, but the quality of this Mini PC is seriously making me consider getting rid of my PS4. The graphics I've been getting on this PC are comparable, but it's so much quieter - see my attached video, that's the loudest this unit gets. I like how it has an adjustable knob to put the system in performant or silent mode. Another cool feature is that the USB C port on the front can do video out. So I can easily switch my monitor, keyboard and mouse between my laptop and this PC. My only two complaints about this PC are: 1) I wish it had an additional USB-C port on the back 2) I wish there was a hardware switch to control the RGB. I have been using this computer for a week now, and have been very impressed with its capabilities, especially in gaming, its compact design, and the most excellent customer service that turned a potentially negative experience into an overwhelmingly positive one. Design: I like the compact design; living in a two-bedroom apartment with six people puts space at a premium, and it is just the right size for our needs. Having mostly owned and having had to repair laptops for work, school, and gaming over the last fifteen years, I absolutely love being able to just pop off the side to get at the inner workings instead. It should be very easy to repair or upgrade (if needed). I also find the unusual wedge-shape aesthetically pleasing. Some reviewers had trouble downloading and using the app to change the lighting effects, but I had no difficulty downloading or using the app. Performance: I don't usually play the latest and most popular games, but this mini PC handled some of my newer titles (e.g., Midnight Ghost Hunt and Deep Blue) particularly well, much better than the i5 core laptop I originally tried them on. It has done a fantastic job on running the less demanding work programs that I need as well. I enjoy being able to change the performance (and, as a result, the noise of the fan) depending on whether I am doing more mundane tasks or gaming. Customer Service: When I originally got this computer, the large performance knob/power button had broken loose and it would not turn on. I contacted Ace Magician customer service through their website via email, and they were very responsive and practically bent over backwards helping me get a replacement sent from their warehouse, covering the cost of shipping and walking me through the process. They were unfailingly and overwhelmingly polite and solicitous, almost entertainingly so. I was very impressed. In the end, I feel I actually came out ahead rather than lost anything in this transaction. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend this computer to others, and already have done so. This mini pc is great as an entry level gaming pc for your kid. It worked great with all of my sons games. We even connected 2 monitors to it. Unfortunately, the pc stopped working a little under a year after I purchased it. I bought the Asurion 2 year warranty, but luckily it was still covered under the manufacturers warranty. I contacted acemagician and they instructed me with a few steps to try to troubleshoot it, but nothing worked. They instructed me to send it back to them and asked if I wanted a full refund or another mini pic. I opted for the full refund. The refund was back in my account a couple days later. I needed a simple replacement for my home desktop for gaming, browsing, video playback and MS office usage. This little or super compact mini PC has it all and is a gem in its performance. Setup was super easy as it came with Windows 11 pre installed and pre activated. Response was good and mostly all apps opened without much lagging. The fan noise is barely noticeable unless you specifically listen to it. There are 3 modes at the top to choose from - silence, auto and performance. I had to install AMD graphics driver specially for games which also has the performance and quality mode to choose from. I am using a wireless keyboard and mouse that goes in one USB port, 1 audio jack for headphones and HDMI at the back, basically it has all port requirements that a gamer needs.
