  • Great posts
They are plastic, much nicer than the awful fiberglass ones , super easy to push in with your foot , can be used w tape, polywire or wire. Have a cap on the top and they flex with pressure which makes them safer. They are holding up much better than the old fiberglass ones also. We have a pretty hot Gallagher charger and are using turbo wire…. It is very effective even for cows. Super easy to install and definitely easier on your wallet than other fencing. • Works with multiple types of fencing
I got these to set up an electric fence using the flat ribbon or tape style of electric fencing. They worked very well for that. My ground is SO rocky that I would have had a hell of a time setting up traditional posts, but these slid right in. If I hit rocks, I would just try at different points around the spot I wanted and eventually find one that worked. They've been sturdy and held up for several months now. Even better was the the second use I found for them. Whenever I plant fruit trees. I need to erect barriers to protect them from the [expletive deleted] deer. I had been hammering wooden stakes into the ground and stapling chicken wire to it. This worked fine, but was a bit of a hassle to set up. I noticed that the attachments on these step-in posts would probably be compatible with chicken wire, and sure enough, you can easily bend the wire into the retainers. This makes tree barriers SO much easier to set up! ... show more

  • They get the job done
We do rotational grazing and these step in posts are indispensable. I have bought hundreds. Nice to find them online at this price. Even though they aren't perfect, I've tried other types of step in posts and these are almost just right. Enough that I'll keep using them. Pros - +So long's it isn't a drought or the ground isn't frozen, these posts allow for easy putting in and moving fence lines in rotational grazing. +they are lightweight. +They don't conduct electricity so there is no need of post insulators. +they do not rust or rot. +the plastic places to hook the wires do not break easily. Cons +if you step too hard to get the post in drought hardened ground, the step-in part stands a high chance of breaking. Keep a rubber mallet on hand and carefully hammer the post in the ground. An extra step but droughts happen. So do frozen winters when strip grazing stock-piled pasture happens. +carrying an arm load of these is annoying but it is with the cheaper plastic ones too. These break the least. +the fixed places to hook electric wire in are nice if yer animals are all the same size. We have mini and large cows so it'd be nice if there was more options for where to hook the wire onto. Generally our cows n bulls don't test electric fencing and a single wire will do. But in a mixed size herd it's a bit annoying that the lower option is just right for the shorties but the full size can step over and the higher line option is just right for the full size which means the shorties can go under. Instead, a notch in between would be just right. Just means having to run two lines if needed, which means more lines to move each time. In the homemade Rebar posts I can adjust the insulators to just the right hight to accommodate both size cows with one line but Rebar is heavy, needs an Insulator, and has to be pounded in. Overall, I like these fiberglass posts enough to keep buying them. ... show more

  • Easy and strong!
I bought these to keep goats in. They respect the electric fence. The posts are sturdy and easy to use. Other posts broke, but not these. I just set up the posts and run the electric ribbon through, clip the hot lead on and I'm done. I really like being able to change the configuration of the fence.

  • Convenient and durable
They are durable and convenient. Compared to the plastic alternatives these are great! The molded plastic ones break easily and suck. These are great

  • Very nice post,
I purchased these posts to keep cows and horses away from my ground mounted solar panels and they are great. Very sturdy and stiff enough to hammer into the ground into very rocky terrain. I will definitely be buying more.

  • These are so easy to use
There was no issue using the electric tape or the wire with these poles. We like them much better than the square plastic posts.

  • More durable than plastic posts.
I've been using these to replace the plastic temporary step in posts for the temporary pasture fencing. The plastic posts get brittle from the sun and weather, some much quicker than others. These coated fiberglass posts last longer and hold up to the elements better.
