Ideal for security when home or away for the day, working, or on vacation anywhere in the world with it’s 24 hour Wi-fi connection and easy to use app. Also great for watching pets and children, monitoring deliveries, or seeing and talking with anyone who might be at your door. Solar powered is a big plus that lets you put it anywhere there’s sun without only being able to place it near 120 outlets or the considerable expense and hassle of running power cords or wires.

I’ve been using the GALAYOU 2K Wireless Outdoor Security Cameras (R1 4P Black) for a while now, and overall I’m very impressed with the performance and value. Video Quality & 360° Coverage: The 2K resolution is clear and sharp, both during the day and at night. Night vision works well and makes it easy to identify movement even in low-light conditions. The pan, tilt, and zoom feature is a big plus. It also cover a wide area without needing multiple cameras in one spot. Notifications are quick and helpful as well. Setup & App: Installation was straightforward, and the app is easy to navigate. Just note that it only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, which isn’t a problem for most home networks but is something to be aware of. Overall for the price, these cameras offer excellent features good video quality, wireless convenience, solar power, and wide coverage. They’re a great option for anyone looking to upgrade their home security without running wires. Highly recommended! 👍👍🏻

Jay Fray delivering the blunt truth about this GALAYOU 2K security camera wireless system that completely fails to deliver reliable surveillance monitoring or dependable operation! Purchased this GALAYOU 2K wireless security camera expecting reliable surveillance coverage for monitoring construction equipment storage and workshop security. The camera fails catastrophically with connectivity problems and video quality that doesn’t match specifications. WiFi connectivity proves absolutely terrible with the camera constantly disconnecting from network requiring repeated manual reconnection. Security cameras must maintain stable connections - this one drops offline randomly making surveillance completely unreliable. Video quality disappoints significantly despite 2K resolution claims with grainy footage that lacks clarity for identifying people or reading details. The image quality appears closer to standard definition than genuine 2K resolution. Night vision performance is essentially useless with infrared that barely illuminates viewing area or creates washed-out images preventing identification of anything in darkness. Security cameras need effective night coverage. Motion detection proves unreliable with the camera either missing obvious movement events or triggering constantly for non-existent motion creating useless notification spam. False alerts and missed events eliminate security value. App functionality is frustrating with confusing interface, delayed live view that makes real-time monitoring impossible, or features that simply don’t work as described. Battery life falls far short of advertised duration with cameras requiring frequent recharging that defeats wireless convenience. Constant battery maintenance makes these impractical for security monitoring. Build quality feels extremely cheap with flimsy plastic housing that won’t withstand weather exposure despite outdoor camera designation. For security monitoring requiring reliability, invest in established camera brands with proven performance rather than cheap wireless cameras that fail basic surveillance functions. I wanted to upgrade some of the older cameras outside of my home and replace the ones that require batteries or frequent charging with solar-powered cameras, if for no other reason than convenience. I landed on these cameras from GALAYOU, and I couldn't be more pleased. To start with, they're extremely easy to install. They come with everything you need to mount them, and they'll mount almost anywhere. I was worried because there's a fair amount of area around my house that is mostly shaded this time of year, but the cameras still charged, despite being in the shade, and even when it was mostly cloudy. They're very easy to set up, and the app is very simple to use. Easily one of the more pleasant app instillation processes I've done. Range is impressive compared to my old cameras, and the picture quality is second-to-none. Even the night time view is far superior to anything else I've ever used. Full color night vision is a game-changer. No more gray image at night! I'm blown away by how great these cameras are, especially considering their low price point. You get four incredible cameras for the same price I paid for one ten years ago from another company.
