To all the stoners out there wondering if they should buy this..... The app is buggy and doesnt really live up to some of the advertisements like the ability to move with music. There's really only 2 lighting functions....1.) Some laser dots. 2.) Some swirling colors of your choice. And I guess a 3rd if you do both at the same time. That being said It's totally worth 30 bucks. You should definitely buy this. It's fun to watch if you're indoors, it's a decent night light for kids (although quite bright on its lowest setting), and it looks cool on an apartment balcony ceiling. Also it uses a USB type-C port that runs at 5V 2a. Which means you can run this thing off any mobile battery pack with a USB port. For the stoners out there ;) 1.) The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I was about to leave a Karen like review about how I probably received a defective item for the first time. BUUUUT then I realized that this light actually needs to be plugged in which is kind of a bummer but not a deal breaker at all. Besides me being dumb 💀 this light projecter is a 10/10. It looks great, easy to use, lightweight but sturdy, and is visually stunning. Would totally recommend, all my friends are asking for the link now. Here’s the rub on this product… it is the COOLEST light ever! It does a wave motion with blue light and super bright stars. The light plays music. I love the effect, it’s like being under the ocean… BUT she will not shut up. She keeps saying, “Blue tooth mode.” I have deleted the app and forgotten the device on my iPhone; doesn’t work, she’s still talking! I am sad to say she must go back. I’ve noticed many other reviews like this one. I hope the creators fix this light. I would cherish one that works properly. ... show more

I'm going to start off with the original items sent. After unboxing the light which was nicely packed I noticed an easy to understand instructions booklet, which is always nice to have, even if the item is easy to figure out. After removing the light from the box I discovered the remote and USB cord. I powered on the machine and walked away for a brief moment, as I returned I smelled the scent of burning electrical. My light machine was smoldering from the inside. I contacted the company and was able to receive a replacement within 24 hours. I have been using the new replacement for about two weeks now without incident. I have no concern as sometimes electrical items can have defaults. I think the build is great and my only issue is where the power is located, it would of been nicer to have it on the back or underneath. The media could not be loaded. The projector is over LED’s in my opinion but I still use both. The speaker isn’t meant for music. It’s meant for white noise. The speaker is still a bonus though. I thought I got scammed because it only covered the ceiling, but I put it on top of my lamp and tilted it and now it illuminates my entire room. When you get it just tilt it against something, the higher the better. Use it in a dark room it’s bright but not LED strip bright. The app asked for a lot but you don’t need to give it permissions. The projector only needs your Bluetooth on (if you use the app). The remote doesn’t come with batteries but it didn’t matter to me because I downloaded the app. You find a QR code inside the manual for the app. Overall I’m not regretting the purchase. ... show more

So, this light, in my opinion, really only has 4 colors. It has green, red, blue, and white. Every single “color option” is a very OBVIOUS mix of these two colors - in my opinion they don’t really blend to create the colors they’re supposed to… it’s just varying brightnesses and combinations of these colors. Next, the app is… weird. Some parts of it are nice, but the app doesn’t seem to “communicate” with the remote. So if I pick a setting on the app, the remote buttons won’t control the light anymore (besides turning on and off). There’s a setting on the remote with (+) and with (-) which allow you to have the lights move a bit. There is NO option for this on the app, and this button on the remote is one of the ones that won’t work if you’ve configured your light with the app, this giving you no way of making the lights move. The weird thing is - SOMETIMES they will move. I have no idea why. I feel I have no control over it. Lastly, this light shuts off every 4 hours. Completely. The timer on it does NOTHING to stop it. It will always power down after 4 hours no matter what. The last galaxy light I had never shut off and I miss that dearly. It was my night light. I don’t think I’d get this one again, if I’m being honest, but if you can live with the described issues maybe this is the light for you. ... show more

App didn't work o iphone. Everything was is Chinese. Had to Agree to terms that you couldn't even read. Google popped up with warnings stating do not trust this source, also stating the spice was compromised by hackers and would damaged phone. Wouldn't trust it even if it did work.
