I’ve used a couple different microphones, this time around I decided to mount it right on the steering column plastic behind my steering wheel and in front of my dash cluster glass. Super easy install, just plug it in and fish the wire around to where you want it, plenty long enough to reach basically anywhere you want.     • Very bad sound quality
I ordered this for my car stereo thinking of making it hands-free but the quality of the sound it delivered is very very low. It doesn't capture good-quality sound unless it is placed very close to the mouth. Very disappointed.

The one that came with radio/head unit sucked. This one mounts so much better and sound quality is much better.

I bought this hoping it would do better than the built-in mic on my car radio. Unfortunately,even though it claims to have noise suppression, they couldn't hear me on the other end of the call.
