I was totally shocked at the brightness of this little table top lamp! It's battery operated so I was expecting it to be dimmer. I love that it has cool light for reading or just a brighter light & also warm light for ambiance. It would look great in the middle of a dining table with a flower ring around it or added light in places that aren't near an electric outlet. It goes on/off with just a touch of the silver button. 1st touch is on cool low light, touch again for warm light option, a 3rd time brighter cool light, 4th time is off. The media could not be loaded. We were recently at a restaurant that had similar cordless lamps and I thought they would be a perfect addition to our covered patio so I purchased these which resembled the ones that we saw. As soon as I opened the package I was fairly disappointed by the way it looked and felt. It is light, to where I question whether it would be able to withstand winds if we put it on our outdoor table, but more notably, it didn't look high end. Perhaps it is the gray or way the light reflected but it certainly did not look worth the $50 we paid for it. I saw some other neat 2 pack options for a little more than what I paid for 1 here while looking browsing and will return this one to give those a try. ... show more

General it is pretty cool portable chargeable small lamp. Touch then switch color. I like this design. I would like to say that is useful when I try to switch warm / cold colors between days and night. Just one click. Battery lasts long. Met my need.
