My wife purchased this fishing rod holder to gift it to myself for my birthday. The components are all of high quality materials. I especially like the the chrome tubes have a protective rubber insert. This holder fits my Chevrolet Colorado rear hitch as it is the standard size of 2” square. It was easy to assemble and I was able to have it installed within 20 minutes. The chrome finish looks amazing. Although, I know that the holder itself will not fall away from my pickup, there is some play in the assembly which will shake fishing rods when at highway speeds. Easy fix: bungee cord(s) to secure the fishing rods. It’s also a good idea to remove rod sleeves before driving as the sleeves may get caught in the aerodynamics and cause them to sway violently. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product and look forward to take my fishing gear with me on vacation. ... show more

Product looks great and feels good. We’re out in Hawaii, I’m curious about the rust portion or how long it will last. Will come back to my comment upon a few usages. Easy to put together, instructions made sense. Can’t wait to get my rods in it and go fishing!

I'd give it a 5 if it were real heavy, whatever that would mean,but then it would be heavy to put on and take off. Don't get me wrong, it is not flimsy and the holder is excellent. Easy assembly, looks good and does the job. I really like the product and your wallet will too. If I could give 4.5, I would. ... show more

Nice finish, but the U connector was bent and difficult to attach, one of the four Quick release pins pins was not functional.
