Replaced a Liftmaster controller with this unit. Setup was easy, connected to the opener quickly. My only complaint is that I miss the automatic close feature of the previous controller when "Enter" is pushed. I think I can live with that though. I would recommend and buy this controller again.

The unit was noticeably cheaper than OEM Units. The instructions were pretty straightforward, which made programming the units a breeze. Needless to say, I would purchase another set if I need additional garage door openers in the future.

    • It's okay...sorta.

The keypad looks and operates like the original LiftMaster keypad, but there are differences. 1. It's not as fast. If you roll through your code, then immediately press ENTER, it won't open. You have to give it a couple of seconds to process the code, then press ENTER. That's not a big deal. 2. The other difference is in closing the door. With the LiftMaster keypad you only have to press the ENTER button to close the door. With this keypad you have to enter your code, then press ENTER to close the door. If I didn't have a regular button just inside the door, within arms length, this would have merited a return. So keep this in mind before you save the few bucks. You'll have to enter your code to close the door as well. I don't like to give negative feedback, so if I'm doing something wrong, maybe the manufacturer will chime in with an answer. Let's hope they do. ... show more
