The media could not be loaded. These are great lights for the price. So far they seem to be doing well in light rain. They are pretty bright, which is good if they're up high or you really want to light up an area. If you want a subtle, dim light then you should add a dimmer. No remote but they give alot of light for such little guys. We purchased these to drape in the back corner of our yard because its always pitch black over in that corner at night and it gets shade all day so solar lights dont work for long in that area. I wasnt expecting much for 25 bucks but i am thrilled with them! Theyve lit up the whole cornee and side of that yard. I love that they are shatterproof and lightly waterproof(minus heavy storms) Wish it had a remote control or timer option but for this price..i cant complain. I would totally buy again and recommend. They say they are weather proof but the globes hold water. I keep them on 24/7’ with the water in them and they still work. I love that they are plastic so when it is windy in Kansas they don’t break.

Great addition to give a bit of accent lighting, or for actual illumination to see by. I strongly recommend utilizing a dimmer switch for these as they are quite bright. If you drop an earring on your deck at night, you can easily find it just with these lights and nothing else. Note that in the pictures I added, I have them dimmed to roughly 50%. They're very simple to install - just plug them in. I also some cup hooks to the roof of my deck to hang them. I noticed that during high winds, the strand was getting blown out of the hooks. I took a pair of pliers and crimped them shut more (still with enough room to remove the string) which solved that problem. We had 65mph winds recently and they stayed put. Another tip is to plug these into a wifi outlet. I have mine set to automatically come on each night at sunset. They're also tied into Alexa that way, so I can just say, "Alexa, turn on the deck lights". ... show more

I love these, because they're bright enough to put on at sunset. They're a little too bright if you're like just a few feet under them about 4 feet. They'd probably be better hanging from a tree, but I really enjoy them because there are too many bugs to have them on late at night anyway.

we bought these lights for our camp site to hang around low branches just for a little 'flare'. the very first time we brought them, the site didnt have low trees. we used wooden clothes pins and pinned them to the tent poles. they looked pretty cute! be warned, when you first hang them, make sure you tighten the bulbs cause they can become loose in shipping! we were worried they were out! just needed a lil twist! ... show more

I love these. The bulbs are removable, and as you can see on the right side of the picture, you can unscrew the bulbs from parts of the strand that you don’t want to light up. I think it looks a lot better when the part that hangs down from the curtains to connect to the outlet is not lit. They are plastic, so they’ll feel sort of cheap when you hold them, but I like that they won’t shatter like glass- they’re just asking for my cat to pull them down. If/when he does do that, at least they won’t break. Also, they don’t get too hot. I used to have Edison bulbs hanging in the same location, and when I sat at my desk nearby, I could feel the intense heat radiating off of them. I love how Edison bulbs look, but they gate SO hot! These look great and only get warm in comparison- they won’t burn you like other bulbs, and won’t radiate so much heat that you’ll sweat! I was worried that because they’re LEDs, they would be an awful, fluorescent bright white or blue-white color. Luckily, they’re not, and have close to the same warm, orangeish glow that my Edison bulbs did. They are much more welcoming than the bright white ceiling light that came with my apartment. I haven’t used them outside so I can’t attest to that. I also don’t use the connecting feature, but I’ll say that it’s also great that you can connect more at the end if you want, like Christmas lights. Definitely a good buy! ... show more
