Pc is a budget build, nothing special but I was having issues with some other quality brand (used from an older system) RAM (patriot, it wasn't the rams fault, it was my purchase choice didn't match some of the qualifications of my motherboard) which was having some issues running the system... it was choking on memtest too. I researched my mobo's ram specs and this is on the list of approved, tested functional rams, so I spent the money. from 4 old-reused modules at 4gb each (16gb total) to 4 modules of 16gb of ram (64gb) that matches all the specs is enough for me to be happy. What's surprising is they automatically glow like in the photos... being a *nix systems support tech I've built plenty of systems for others From exotic and hyper expensive to flashy, which I always found ostentatious. I always prefer the plain, slim line modules, no lights, nothing extra b/c flashy lights = heat and wasted effort. And for myself, I don't even want to spend the time configuring the silly light show. I installed them, ran memtest all day (passed), then running the system for a few days I finally moved the case and saw them glowing, and it brought a simple smile to my face as I watched the colorful glowing modules radiate and swirl the colors independently... without any setup. Stability has been great, compatibility issues all resolved and running perfect, and it looks beautiful even though I prefer plain stuff, this was a pleasant surprise that I'm glad to have finally got. passing all the tests I've thrown at them, I would recommend looking up the specs on your mobo before buying (something I should've known better to do prior to using the old stuff I had laying around). ... show more

Great memory, timings and speed for this capacity. And looks, of course. HOWEVER, INTEL USERS, BEWARE: I was unable to POST it @3600 with MSI Z690 PRO-A DDR4 WIFI with latest BIOS (1.70 - 7D25vA8 at the moment) & 12700K. I've spent 12 hours trying to make it work. Tried each stick individually, 2 sticks in each pair combination, 3 sticks. 1, 2, 3 sticks worked just fine, but never all 4. Tried older BIOS (stock), tried old engineering beta (1.24U2), tried manually entering all subtimings. Went for all frequencies from 3200 to 3600 with minimal steps. Overvolting SA and DRAM did not help. Not a single success with full 4 sticks. I guess I just lost a silicon lottery here. To make sure it's either IMC or mobo, but not RAM - I've tried the same trick on my old Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming 5 (BIOS F10b) with 6600K - was able to boot 1 and 2 sticks only. Had to return this great memory, and bought different kit still from G.Skill - F4-3200C16D-64GTZR (2x32@3200CL16) - XMP worked from the first try. ... show more

Got these working great. Needed to lower them to 3400mhz, but thats because the cou inwas pairing them with was too old and weak to handle them at full. No issues with the ram itself and was worth the update

My boyfriend was having issues with computer. A lot of weird issues like being kicked out of games and other random issues. He was using Corsair pro ram, and after investigating a LOT this seemed to be the issue. After looking around this seemed to be the best option at the best price point. I always wanted 4 sticks of ram in my pc and this fit the bill. Looks great and runs very well. Please look at the qvl list on your motherboard before purchasing. If you buy the wrong ram it will not work.

Best ram on the market.... HAd one stick throw an error and the prices are so unreal now I just got a whole new matched set.. It was faster than running checks on 4 sticks this large and it is in a mission criticle Machine.. Same day swap out.

I used these to provide a second 64GB of memory in a Gigabyte TRX40 Aorus Master Threadripper motherboard. This motherboard is known for being a bit picky about memory when all of the slots are populated. This memory installed with no problems and has been running without fault for a month now.

    • Works at rated speeds, but don't expect overclocks.
They function at rated speeds and timings after turning on DOCP in BIOS. I haven't had any luck with overclocking them at all though, constant BSOD if I ever try getting even a little more speed or a little more tight on timings. One star removed due to some advertisments claiming these are overclockable. My set of 4 16 GB modules were Hynix CJR modules for reference, I suspect most if not all of this SKU are all Hynix CJR. ... show more
