The reason why I say great price is because this is a large bag even if you get a small bag, please consider that the contents are liver Heart all the above so you don’t have to buy separate products. definite bonus that it doesn’t have a terrible smell, Another bonus is, you can add it to your kibble with no problem, Even bigger bonus is my picky pups love it. If you are trying to get your dog on a healthier diet but not ready to go fully raw then this is the next best thing. I know all freeze dried foods you should always rehydrate it but since this is crunchy it might help transition your dog faster since the nibs resemble kibble. If your dog has allergies or need a very limited ingredient diet then this is what you need. The only bad thing is that the larges the bags come in are 25 oz and the price is quite high, especially if you have a larger dog like I do. After 2.5 years of trying to find a high quality food, this is the only one my dog will happily eat. It’s pricey for sure though. But it’s great quality and I don’t have to worry about my dog not eating on when I feed her vital essentials.

This is a high value treat which is very important. I find it excellent for training and rewarding good behavior. I find treats like kibbles do not work at all. I do not use as everyday dog food, training only. I wear a treat pouch so this treat is always in easy reach. It is expensive but don't need much when used for training, 2 or 3 of these small treats is all my dog needs, but need to reward her good behavior very quickly, a couple of seconds. My dog is a 3 year old rescue pit bull, she was not socialized as a puppy. Here's a couple of examples of using these treats for training. When on a walk if she ignores strangers I give her these treats which she loves. Reactive to strangers no treats. Pulls on the leash no treats, walks politely treats. Responds to "heel", treat. Slowly but surely she gets it. It works! ... show more
