  • Much easier to setup than the Garmin Xero A1i
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
I’m really enjoying this sight. It’s significantly easier and quicker to setup than Garmin’s A1i which I’ve also had on my bow. The micro adjustments on both the sight and the laser are incredibly helpful and fast to use. The Garmin was pretty frustrating to me. I managed to get it setup eventually but it took much more time and many more pulls to full draw. This Oracle 2 is sooo much easier. The sight is heavier than the Garmin but it sits closer in to the riser. The sight obviously isn’t as open a sight picture as the Garmin but it’s much better than my old 5 pin sights. The ranges are accurate for me and I confirmed measurements with a tape. If you want to take the plunge into these “new” rangefinding sights, I definitely recommend the Oracle 2. EDIT 1: I drove about 12hrs to my camp and when I arrived and started practicing the arrows were all over the place. After inspecting the sight real close I found that the mounting bracket was broken. I’ll be checking out the warranty now I reckon. I recommend removing the sight prior to traveling just to prevent this from happening. ... show more

  • Well worth the investment
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
After getting this all sighted I can tell you that with this sight I can put 3 arrows on a quarter at 41 yards. Not terribly hard to use or set up, just read directions carefully. I will say thought, that the directions did not mention to insert the bulb for the laser, so that took some time to figure out. This is great value for the money, good quality, and I'm psyched to use this hunting. It really doesn't add that much weight to the bow, especially if you remove your full quiver of arrows from the bow (I hang mine in the tree while I hunt). I will report back after using this sight in the field. ... show more

  • Buy this, you owe yourself!
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
This site is unreal amazing. I have there crossbow unit to. Anything they seem to make is a game changer, and the price for what you get is amazing! Once dialed in and be patient with this process, you will stack quarters like never before.

  • Amazing technology....but activation button needs improvement
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
I purchased the Oracle 2 for my new Mathews V3X 29, simply because I have a Burris Oracle X on my Ravin R500 crossbow, as well as numerous Burris Optics products for the majority of my long guns. The price compared to the Garmin was slightly lower, and provided all of the technology that I was looking for. As far as the Burris installation video goes, they leave out details that would be helpful to someone new to the Burris archery scopes. Fortunately, I was somewhat accustomed to the technology of the sight and didn't have a problem getting it sighted in. However, I am not at all satisfied with the activation button. When I opened the box, there were velcro strips and zip ties that are used to mount the activation button and route the wire to keep it secure. I wasn't crazy about using either of them on my new bow, but I ended up using the velcro strip for the button. As soon as I had it mounted, I pulled the button off of the bow so I could route the wire, and the entire back of the button came off. It is a subpar design compared to the rest of the sight. I repaired the button (glued the back cap back on) and used some stronger velcro to adhere it to the bow. So far it has stayed on, but I don't feel like it will last for long. I purchased a custom wooden torqueless grip for the bow, and plan on cutting out a section to provide a more flush and permanent solution for the button. Overall, the sight is very accurate and it eliminates the need to carry a rangefinder with you to the range or the field. ... show more

  • Amazon used, very good. NOT ANYMORE!!!!!
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Amazon warehouse is no more. Amazon has switched to a quality control that is no good for their used items. Two used, very good orders. Both were broken. Including this sight. I will not buy their used very good items anymore. About the sight. Its realy cool and works!!!! Once I got one that wasnt broke in half when it arrived. Amazon did not require me to send sight back. Full refund. I contacted Burris and began a forever warranty claim for broken peice. In two days I got email from Burris and they are shipping me the needed parts. Very good customer service, if you do it thru their site AND REGISTER WITH THEM FIRST on their site. ... show more

  • Rangefinder sight
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Love this sight, set up isn’t that difficult. Very accurate. Adds some weight but I’m very impressed.

  • Very disappointing
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Bought this bow site in anticipation of shooting at a total archery challenge in Durrango, Colorado. Set up was easy and it did fine on the range, but once in the mountains trying to find 3D targets it would absolutely not range. I talked with some bow shops at the base and they said others had reported nothing but problems with this site. I ripped it off my bow that day and bought a reputable 3pin slider. Not worth the money, excessive weight, and headache. ... show more

  • Not for the woodland hunter Read #4 for detail
Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Few things here 1. Installation was difficult unless you've already pre sighted your bow and are true to your aim. Not for a newcomer or a new bow. Note: the 20 yards is fine its a single pin (only took me 20 min but, it's can be a pain for a newer hunter) 2. Unless you're already good at gauging your shot distance 30-40-50-60 yards you'll find yourself pulling away from the rear site to see the distance. 3. You're required to full draw to range your site. 4. MOST IMPORTANT Range finder is sensitive it'll pick up a bamboo shoots and foliage causing your pin to be short. Happen 2x requiring me to hold the bow steady for longer periods and re range. This caused me a deer! ranged with my range finder at 43 yards and when I took the shot the arrow was about 5 yards short of the and upon looking at the Oracle it was marked at 32 yards. 5. The weight is 2-3x heavier this is a pain on top of the longer draw time to site makes this unwieldy and less accurate in the long run ... show more
