An epic Christmas present to wake up to. The backboard is stable & bounces well. Would be nice if it had a handle adjustment for height instead of having to re-screw the whole thing. Nice colorful net. Base seems stable with water but we added a bunch of cinder blocks to stabilize it more. The only thing obnoxious, which is probably true for all nets with an out of ground base, is when you take a shot and it lands through to the bottom of the base, it doesn’t bounce, it hits the corner and shoots the ball along the ground away from you like it’s in a pinball machine! ... show more

My son needed a new Basketball Hoop. This G GX9 Portable Basketball Hoop worked out great. It is portable, we can tilt it and there are wheels to move it in the driveway when needed. It has a transparent 44" Backboard. Plus it is adjustable between 4.9-10 feet - so it works well for my son and also younger cousins too when they come to play. We have been having a blast with this one! Got this as a birthday present for my 9 year old son and he was through the roof happy with it! - Assembly was rather easygoing BUT I will say that if you’re building this up for your kids, the MIDDLE pole CAN be left out! (The directions didn’t mention that until the end LOL!) - The picture shows the rim set at ~8’3”, with all poles and the hoop placed on the second hole up - (It is a manual adjustment, so try and figure the height you’ll want the rim first!) - Only thing I’d truly complain about is that the top bolt that holds the hoop and backboard on, JUST makes it across the gap so when you’re assembling you MAY need to squeeze a little so that you can get the nut started! - I filled with water (with a little space for expansion as it gets cold), but I plan to fill with sand eventually! - Hands down would get this again! 9.8/10 ... show more
