This greenhouse is very impressive. So big for the amount I paid! Overall, I love it and it was easy to put together. However, I found that several of the pieces had the holes drilled off center, so when I was trying to connect them and place the screw, it was impossible. I tried for an hour to put those particular pieces together and ended up just duct-taping them instead. That being said, even with a few pieces not technically connected correctly, the whole structure feels solid and I'm happy with it. I plan on using it as a shelter this winter for my stray cat friends. Would recommend. ... show more

I love this large greenhouse. Out of the box the product is well constructed and will work well in most areas as long as you follow the instructions on securing it to the ground. In my case, and because I have an uneven area in my yard where I wanted to install it, I chose to build a short 2' high wood-framed level foundation that the greenhouse sits on top. This gave me the benefit of not only ensuring the greenhouse frame is level, but it also increased the inside height to nearly 9'. I installed the galvanized frame all by myself in 5 hours time using a simple cordless drill, the Allen wrench provided and 3/4" pipe clamps I purchased at Lowe's to hold the frame to the wood-framed foundation. I also used wiggle-wire to attach the greenhouse fabric to the side of the 2"x6" cap board of the wood-framed foundation. This allowed me to get a good tight fit of the fabric over the galvanized frame which will keep water from pooling between the arches. I live in Maryland, so I plan on adding a center support beam constructed of 4"x4" and 2"x6" wood to handle snow loads during the winter months. For the 2' foundation I am adding 6mil UV greenhouse plastic and will tie that in with the wiggle wire holding the greenhouse fabric. UPDATE: Added greenhouse plastic to cover wood base frame and added screen doors on both end. Just a little cleanup and I will be ready for spring transplanting. ... show more

It’s pretty to set up, I’m 58 and I did most by myself . Had a hand for the front n the top. Haven’t but cover on need to build shelves first.

I liked that me and my husband were able to put it together in less than an afternoon maybe two hours give or take. It’s definitely sturdy and easy to put together and I like the fact you can hang a few baskets from the top of it. It’s really spacious and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who wants to keep growing year round. It does hold in heat so you will need to make sure you keep watering regularly as needed. ... show more

Fairly simple assembly. Cover is a decent weight. My reason for giving it 4 stars is that the door closure zippers are a smaller gauge than I would expect for such a large enclosure and the hold open ties for the ventilation windows are ridiculously weak.

Set up was fast with 2 people. Very sturdy and cover is thick. As always securing the greenhouse to withstand Alabama weather is the hardest thing to figure out. I suggest wratchet straps with metal dog tie out steaks. I used cynder blocks for the bottom.

This greenhouse is priced attractively, and if your needs are right, this could be a good fit. If you think you’ll outsmart the system and get a higher-quality greenhouse for about $100, you'll be disappointed. Aside from the price, here's what I like: A full tubular metal frame, with all screw and nut fasteners, AND the custom-fitted tarp. The kit provides you an allen wrench as well as a small wrench that fits the nuts, so if you do not already have the correct tools, the kit provides them. The tarp comes with zip-up/down doors and windows and the zippers seem to work. The tarp, out of the box, seems to be adequately built (time will tell). The barrel roof makes the greenhouse feel much larger. Assembly wasn't too difficult for one person. All in all - took me 4.5 hours, by myself. Once the tubular frame is assembled and tightened, it feels adequately solid..... not heavy, but solid as opposed to flimsy. Here are some things to consider: If you struggle to put together Ikea furniture, you'll hate this. Instructions are in picture form only and they are not as easy as Lego instructions. You'll need some intuition. If you are challenged with assembly intuition, then you may want to consider a different solution. The advertisement would lead you to belive the frame's metal tubes are high quality - in reality, they can easily compress when being screwed together with a $.30 allen wrench and a $.95 wrench. Will the tubes rust? I’d be more surprised if they did not. The provided "tie down anchors" are cosmetic at best. They are flimsy, wire metal "L's" - the same ones that come with your typical $25 holiday lawn inflatable. To think these can actually anchor a greenhouse in place during a heavy wind falls into the "wishful thinking" bucket. As to the tarp itself - I honestly can't tell if it's going to hold up or not. Will a strong wind pull it apart at the seams? I'm not sure yet. That's going to be the gamble for me, which tells me if this was a good purchase or not. I'm only hoping for one winter, if we make it past that, then I'll be happy. In summary - it all comes down to how realistic your expectations are going into this. You get a lot for your $100, but you are not going to get "more than you pay for", by any stretch. UPDATE - April 2024. We had a very mild winter, with almost no snow, but the tarp held up for the winter. No rips, no tears. I'm happy with this purchase. ... show more
