The media could not be loaded. I will start with assembly... The instructions are well written and will walk you easily through each step. The kit came with all the parts necessary to assemble it, even a very interesting looking screw driver. I used my own, but it was nice they did include one just in case. The final assembled product feels sturdy and firm. It's not unreasonably heavy to handle when completed either. On packaging, which I likely should have start with, was great. The box had been damaged somewhere in transport but the contents were unscathed. There is a full foam packing that surrounds all part within the box. The fireplace ships separately and I just as well packaged. I don't believe you would have much to worry about when it comes to shipping damage when you purchase this item. The final product has a nice aesthetic look to it and that little heater will throw out some heat. In reviewing the heater manual it has a 7 day timer to turn the unit on. It has adaptive timer, meaning if you set it to be 75 degrees at 6pm, it will start up earlier to ensure the room is at 75 degrees by 6pm. It's is nice, not sure if I'll ever use it, but I will be using that heater during the winter. The is a 1500W heater and the flame display will come in without the need for heat. I searched for months for a TV cabinet with an electric fireplace to aid in warming my living room and thus reducing my heating bill. A lot of them were really expensive or had so-so reviews. This one was priced right, had great reviews, and arrived quickly. Thanks to the many reviews, I knew it would arrive in two shipments. The fireplace piece first and then the stand. Assembly was easy and you definitely need another person to help you assemble the TV stand. The instructions state it takes about 2 hours to assemble and it does take 2 hours. The heat output is great, the fireplace is quiet, and the overall size of the cabinet is perfect for my TV and living room. The color matches my coffee table and I wasn't even trying to match that, it was a happy accident. Highly recommend. ... show more

Beautiful color and so cute. Keep in mind the fireplace part comes in a separate box. When we received the fireplace it did not work. We are still waiting for a response. Update: The response from the seller has been great! They sent a replacement part and it works perfectly!
