The end result of this peel and stick wallpaper deserves five stars, but getting there was tricky for me. Still easier and far less messy than what I remember from the last time I installed regular wallpaper. So much so that I maybe want to do another small wall. I used the wallpaper to cover the area above and beneath a bedroom window with a shorter height than I liked. I might have just faked a taller window by covering it with long curtains, but that wouldn't work since my dog sleeps right below this window. He sometimes likes to sleep upside down, with his legs splayed out in all different directions and often against the wall. So having a surface I could easily clean was a definite bonus. The wallpaper is thin enough that it's flexible and forgiving, but thick enough to smooth over minor imperfections in the surface. I installed it over a relatively smooth painted wall. Even though I applied the first strip using a plumb line, I had a heck of a time installing the strips to the right and left of it. This is almost certainly a me problem and nothing to do with the wallpaper. Mentioning it, though, because I was able to reposition the wallpaper a number of times without wrecking it. That amazed me, because the adhesive was quite strong. I was sure I was going to stretch or rip the wallpaper every time I began pulling it up to try again to get it straight, and/or match up the pattern. I went very, very slowly, and eventually got the wallpaper down well enough and with no damage. Although I do like the design of the wallpaper I received, but mockups on the product page show a much larger scale that I liked a lot. It was just more open and less busy. I bought four rolls for ~$10 each US, and had enough to cover and match the area without opening that fourth roll. I think that's a great value for an accent. Especially one that makes the wall easier to keep looking good.

Great value for the money. Material has a premium feel and look. I used it to line drawers. It was super easy to install, easy remove/reapply if need to readjust. Went on smooth the 1st try without bubbles like contact paper, no special tools or skills needed. I will never use contact paper again. This feels durable and easy to wipe down/ clean.

I've worked with some other contact papers that are thin and that tear when you're working with them. This paper is not like that. The paper is easy to work with and pull back up and put back in place where it belongs if you get it in the wrong place to begin with... which happens! It adheres well to the bathroom drawer bottoms, which is what I got it for, and has a beautiful pattern to it! It's a shame to only line the bathroom drawers with it. There's so much left that I could still do a wall or three... and maybe I will. I like though that this will at least protect the bottoms of my drawers from moisture for now. The product went in just fine and looks amazing. I measured each piece just a smidge bigger than the drawer and then trimmed down as necessary. The lines on the back of this are incredibly helpful with cutting a straight line. When you peel away the back and go to line it up in the drawer, it seems to help if you start in one corner and kind of fan it a little bit to settle it into place. The sticky back will likely catch a little on things here and there, but you just pull it back up and settle it again until it's in just the right spot. Then, you slowly drop the paper bit by bit, working out any bubbles but lifting it back up and smoothing out any ridges, working your way across the base of the drawer. Once completely down, smooth it out, making sure it's well-adhered to the drawer bottom, and use your thumbnail or another object to get all of the edges into place securely. If there is a little extra along the edge, just trim it away with a box knife or razor blade.

Hard to match up pattern - maybe it would have been different if I purchased a larger roll but it was hard to tell which way was the correct way to put them up and their was no indicator on the back to determine up from down. I love the pattern but ended up taking down because I got so frustrated

I am loving this wallpaper. Or peel and stick decorative paper to describe it more like I'm using it. So far! First when it arrived I loved the shade of the lines of the pattern. It's somewhere between a matte gold and a tan pink.. but really to me it gives a subtle slightly elevated gold. But it's something of a chameleon as the more places I looked at to possibly use it it seemed to subtly change. Up against an antique white it gave of a complementary shade of old parchment paper with an almost yellowish cast overall in that light up against that specific furniture. When I took it in the vanity where I mostly have dark furniture and grey marble walls, save 1, it gave off again the matte gold but the pattern popped much more than before when seen with our warm brass hardware. It was a real debate, how too use it. I'll tell you the result by way of illustrating how different and special this is compared to others Ive seen. Ultimately I decided to use it on a much beloved and once genteel centuries old desk of birdseye maple. The desks color had gone too dark to tell what it was due to age and generations of kids coloring at mommy's desk then dragging it to university or a first home. It hS happily saved that desk for a long while lmore. Hopefully long enough for us to have a skilled wood refinisher in the family. For now it looks likeong ago someone painted a gilded design that has filled with age to the perfect point. We are still putting it on. On a practical matter i find it easier to work with than other peel and stick products I've used. It sticks well but also gives you a moment or two to adjust. If I ever remove it I'll be sure to have a heat gun ..or probably just my hair dryer on high, warming it up so the glue releases easily I may buy enough more to do my vanity room too, I like it so much. Here's where we are on the desk so far.
