These knives are fantastic! I work in a meat department at a grocery store and I use these to cut and skin salmon and even cut meat. Slides through like butter. One thing to understand is these are not meant for heavy duty use like cutting up a whole chicken or going through bone in general so handles can break if really stressed. Despite this, not worth a decrease in the star rating. Great deal for great knives.

Let me start by saying these knives are absolutely beautiful and my wife so so excited to get them for Christmas just over 2 months ago, HOWEVER, it is now March 7 and they are breaking and rusting! We hand wash them only and the ones being used regularly have broke at the handles and the blades are rusting as pictured. I read the reviews and they all seemed great. UPDATE: The owners of the company that sell these knives contacted me with concerns for the review I posted. It has come to my understanding that we received a bad batch and they sent us a brand new set. The customer service was wonderful and they made sure we were well taken care of. I have never had a business be so willing to correct an issue and be so caring. They clearly take pride in their products and I will definitely purchase from them again.

This set arrived and is exactly as described and shown in the picture. The knives are super sharp and the sheaths seem to have some oil inside to keep them sharp. Thank you for the minor detailing. I love my knife set.
