These are sharp. And I mean ridiculously sharp. Every guest that tries to use them has accidentally cut themselves- that’s how sharp I’m talking. Beyond that, they look modern and are clearly built to last. Hasn’t shown any signs of wear on the edge in a year. Handles are made well, with a weight to each blade. The media could not be loaded. These knives are freaking awesome!! Super sharp cuts through thick pieces of steak like butter. They also look amazing will say you do need to hand wash these knives maybe look up some videos on how to properly maintain them so they don't rust but all in all happy with my new knife set

These knives are fantastic! I work in a meat department at a grocery store and I use these to cut and skin salmon and even cut meat. Slides through like butter. One thing to understand is these are not meant for heavy duty use like cutting up a whole chicken or going through bone in general so handles can break if really stressed. Despite this, not worth a decrease in the star rating. Great deal for great knives.

I'm a Chef by trade. I've been using these knives for about 8 months now. The "Damascus" marks are obviously etched on, but you wouldn't be paying this price if they were real. The blades are sharp, they keep their sharpness for a decent amount of time, and are easy to hone. My only complaint is the handles...they WILL crack eventually, but is an easy fix. I bought this set for work, but am considering another set for home so I don't have to keep shuffling them back and forth

these arrived a few weeks back, and I've finally used them enough to give a somewhat knowledgeable review. The first thing I noticed are these knives are fairly hefty, especially compared the the cheaper ones that I'm used to. They do not skimp on the steel as far as I can tell. They also come quite sharp, and after a few uses, it does not seem to be diminishing by any noticeable amount, so they seem to hold an edge decently. The ergonomics seem to be decent, maybe mot outstanding, but appropriate for the price range. My one regret is in the description given by the vendor. I do wish there were a few more smaller knives in the set, as they are used more often, and this set does favor the larger sizes. Not a big deal, and I do not fault them, this is simply personal preference. Overall I'm quite satisfied, although I may seek out a couple of matching smaller knives in the near future.

These knives are very strong, sharp and gorgeous! I even bought the matching steak knives. I’ve had these for 6 months or better and could not be happier with these knives. Chopping, slicing, dicing all through the holidays and they are just as sharp as when I first bought them.

…they will rust after 1-2weeks of service!!! Wanted to be at 2.5 stars but I favored the bump to 3 because I’m sure they will continue to be useful as long as my tetanus booster is up to date. I got these for my wife, she requested them for our anniversary. Didn’t want to disappoint so I shopped really early. Found these knives and received them very quickly! They were all that was requested by her and couldn’t wait to gift them. Two weeks later they were opened. One week after that they were in service. Week and a half (of HAND WASH ONLY use!!) later, rust spots. At that point I was about 4-5 days outside the return window so this review is to serve as a warning. IF you can’t resist this set and buy them, don’t wait to use them because you will need the return time. Very disappointing from an otherwise well performing, and great feeling set.
