I liked the quality to price. It was easy to put together took me less than 2 hours. So far it seems sturdy and looks pretty. The mattress is about 12 inches so it makes the bed look high. There were very minor scratches, which was so subtle can’t really see once covered with the comforter.

This bed was very easy to assemble with two people working together. Tools are included so you can just open the box and go. I ended up purchasing a metal frame to sit inside the wooden outside part because it was difficult for me to get a sense of what the weight limit for the bed actually was. When it all arrived there are a lot of slats so I am not sure that the metal frame was needed. The only issue was that one of the finials was badly dented.     • Bed broke within a week. Spend your money elsewhere.
As soon as I opened the box, I knew this bed wouldn't last longer than a year. The main side frames are a two piece construction and the pieces that joined them left enough gap to allow a pivot point. If you do purchase this bed make sure you build it in the exact spot you want it as it will barely handle you moving it. I went to get on the bed and the side rails twisted. The wooden dowels held up better than the rails and broke through the side of the rails. We immediately dismantled the bed after that as it was too dangerous to our pets and kids to leave up. ... show more

The bed frame is nice in appearance and sturdy. However the first bed frame came with missing and bolts and not drilled in the right spots. We thought ok just get replacement parts for some reason they could not do that they sent us a whole new bed frame. Guess what the same parts were missing same pieces as the first one. We had to drill the holes go to home depot and find screws nuts and bolts that fit. Next time we will buy our beds in a furniture store. Didn't have the bed ready when we needed it.
