I’m really happy with this purchase. Be careful when unsealing out from the packaging. When we freed it from the innermost wrapping, it popped open with a lot of force and almost whacked me in the head! And it’s heavy at 88 pounds, which is notable, since I have it on a bed whose platform raises to allow storage under the bed. It’s rather challenging to raise the platform by myself, even though the bed uses hydraulic hinges to support the weight. Admittedly, it’s softer than I’d hoped, but I find it very comfortable. I wouldn’t call it medium-firm — it’s medium. I put a mattress cover on it that adds some loft, so it’s even softer. But it actually feels luxurious to me. So I highly recommend it! ... show more

We bought this mattress for my 12 year old daughter to upgrade her mattress when we bought a slatted bed frame. This mattress is very comfortable and with the added memory foam topper is really nice. You can’t feel the slats underneath on the bed frame through the mattress, and because of the coils inside, you can sit down in one end without a lot of disruption throughout the mattress. This is a fine mattress, and I haven't found any faults with it for the price you pay. I got a 12 inch, returned that and got a 10 inch and added a 2 inch memory foam topper that I already had, thus making it 2 beds in one. Without the topper, the plush top is very nice, but makes the bed a bit firmer if you like to switch it up. The sheets also fit fine with the topper on it. I've noticed that all of these mattress-in-a-box types are really all almost exactly the same except for the price. Even the boxes they use to ship them are the same, so quit hunting around, save some money and get one! ... show more

I’m single and so I sleep all over the mattress trying out spots the way cats do. Described as “Medium Firm’. For me it is more “Medium” than “Firm. “ I will be getting rid of this mattress as it is TOO SOFT. It has sagged in the middle giving me various aches and pains.
