It has a good balance of support and comfort. It will not collapse when you sleep on it, but it is not hard. It has a medium to soft support feeling, which is just right for people like me who have changeable sleeping positions and occasionally sleep on their sides. The memory foam part fits the curve of the body, and you can feel that your shoulders and waist are supported. You won't feel sore when you wake up in the morning, and you will feel very stable all night. Finally found a mattress that doesn't sag for us bigger folks (250lbs here)! Luxuriously soft to the touch but with incredible support underneath. Bonus: sleeps surprisingly cool even in summer with AC on. Six months in and it still looks and feels brand new!
