This is a great little setup. There are plenty of options as to where to run cables, ducting and fans. There are 6 circular opening with double pull strings. One at the very top, one smaller one opposite the zipper side, two on the left and two on the right. At the bottom of the left and right side there are rectangular vents that use a Velcro cover. When the cover is off it exposes a mesh and is used for ventilation. This was disastrous for me because my roommates cat was easily able to claw through it and eat my "tomato" plant. Live an learn I guess. Nothing wrong with the Velcro cover vents, just saying the mesh is not cat or mouse proof, so I had to redesign my venting system keeping the covers closed. I have used smaller double plant grow tents, and they were more expensive. This should be the smallest setup you should buy when starting as it is cheaper and built way better than anything I have used so far. The canvas material is rugged and made very well. It form fit perfect to the frame. This was very easy to setup, just make sure all the rubber feet are going the same direction or the poles will not align correctly. The zipper is high quality, I think VIVOSUN really shines in this area. I have not found any pin holes yet like others have found, but for the price I will take a few without complaining. For my use, the poles hold up 2 LED pod style lights hanging from the top support bars that are included. (the support bars are included not the lights). I would not put much more weight than that as the poles not heavy duty. I was worried that a mylar/canvas water tray was not durable, but there are no worries anymore. Held water for 3 days as a test with no leaks. This setup keeps the heat in VERY well, you will need to think about ventilation. A small duct fan will work with a variable controller. I have mine on a timer to run every 2 hours for 15 minutes. Stays between 76 and 80 all day. I will probably buy the bigger model next time, but this one is perfect for the small 4 plant situation I have now. Make sure in your planning you note that it is only 5 ft tall. The lights take up space, the pots/hydroponic setup will take up space, the ducting will consume space, and the plant growth will take up space. No one likes stubby flowering plants as it reduces the yields. Happy Growing! ... show more

This has been updated to reflect the company's response to my review: I have to say, Vivosun's customer service is excellent! They reached out to me within a day after I posted my reviews. After asking for some additional pictures, they offered me a a partial (over half) refund on the tent itself, and they offered to send me additional ducting to make the ventilation kit I had ordered more functional. The tent was very easy to set up by myself out of the box with the provided instructions. And while during assembly I had some doubts about its sturdiness, once assembled it has been very sturdy. I do have a couple design complaints, and while not as extreme as some other customers, I have some product quality issues that it would be nice if Vivosun customer service addressed and corrected in future production. In terms of design, Vivosun, please, ditch the windows with the velcro covers. The windows themselves aren't very useful (especially the one near the floor??), and the velcro on covers are not big enough to provide good light seals, they leak light around the edges. I'm going to end up having to cover those spots with mylar inside. Just make solid walls. In terms of quality...well... I had some similar complaints as others. Right out of the box and set up, there were pinhole leaks scattered around the tent walls. Probably a couple dozen. Quality control to ensure all outgoing materials don't have these shouldn't be a big deal. I'm going to have to do a lot of work with small bits of mylar tape to patch all these. Now onto the zipper...Out of the box, the zipper seemed shot. There were a bunch of places where though zipped the teeth on the two sides had separated, others where the teeth seemed bound up/zipped together improperly (skipping teeth, etc.). Thankfully, with some bow string wax and a lot of patience I was able to rehab it. But its not something I should've had to do with a brand new item. I figured that was the end of the zipper problems, until I had my vent system set up and a negative pressure environment going. With the outer walls sucked in slightly from the pressure, there were clearly light leaks about 2-3 in. long along the edges of the zipper in about 4 places. I thought it was from the stitching being pulled on by the pressure, but on closer inspection it wasn't the sort of pinhole leaks you'd get from that. Rather, it almost looked like the fabric surrounding and reinforcing the zipper strip itself was too thin or not properly overlapped and light was leaking through only partially opaque areas. Again, I had to spend a lot of time with mylar tape reparing this. Vivosun, please, fix these consistent design and quality control issues for future customers at the very least, even if you won't contact me to correct them. ... show more
