I wanted a softer bed and this seemed to fit my needs. I let it sit for a full 72 hours before putting sheets on as recommended. My guests talked about how well they slept and on the comfort! I’ve briefly laid on it and find it not too hard and not too soft. Very nice! The sides are soft as some mentioned, so sitting on the edge isn’t a good option, but so far I’m very pleased with it. When I ordered this I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew the size of the bed but was uncertain of the construction exactly because it says memory foam and springs. That could mean a lot of things. In this case it means very thin memory foam. Like it's a memory of foam... like "Ah! yes! I remember foam..." This is a spring mattress with very thin layer of foam on top but guess what? ...That doesn't really matter! This bed is super comfortable! It forms to you no matter if you're sleeping on your back or sides. Because I'm not a turtle I haven't tried sleeping on my stomach so I have nothing to report there. But I gotta tell ya...sure you could buy a more expensive mattress but you really don't need to. This one does the job right. I've slept soundly every night I've had it so far. It's a good one.

I bought this mattress for my younger brother in a different state staying with family on short notice terms and his sleeping arrangements weren’t all that ideal. He is 5”11 and 250lbs . I was really unsure at first because I’ve never bought a mattress online-however with the help of the other reviews I was able to determine this was the one!! It did come with a “seat belt” like cutter which is nice! My brother says it is soft & is best with a box spring or platform like frame for support of the mattress other wise you “sink” in kinda he said . I called him shortly after it was delivered & he said he was actually starting to fall asleep lol. Overall beats a hard narrow massage table! He really seems to like it .
