    • Bad instructions + mislabeled parts
I put the bed together best i could, yet the instructions weren't very clear nor specific enough. The parts listed are hard to differentiate(screws and such have the same symbols). The pictures are not clear- i repeatedly put nails in wrong places and had board backwards and found out later in the process. A lot of the peices lack lables- or could even be pabled incorrectly. The arm bits by the mattress had holes that didn't line up properly so i had to go without. I didnt receive enough of the longer pointed screws, had to use some resources from home. The bed is functional, but it shakes like a leaf when you move. I am scared of the bed. ... show more

    • Nightmare ensemble
Took an entire weekend to put together. Pieces were mislabeled, the pictures weren’t labeled enough. I needed three people at certain points to hold pieces while trying to put it together. The desk piece was also warped. Once it was put together, it made a lovely bed.

    • Don’t Buy!
My regret for purchasing this bed began as soon as I opened both boxes and could not find any instructions whatsoever. Ok, most of the time you can find a pdf version of them in the listing…nope. I’ll contact customer service and they can send me the file. Nope. They wanted to know when I bought it, from where, what lot number it was, and my mother’s maiden name. Why not just send me the dang file? Who cares where I bought it. So, I finally found the instructions on Home Depot website where this bed is also sold. Disaster averted, or so I thought. Bed is very poorly made. Cheap “wood,” holes don’t line up like they are supposed to, most of the pre drilled holes are not drilled all the way through, others are too shallow/too deep, and the instructions are absolute garbage. Mind you, this is not my first attempt at home furniture assembly either. I am in my 40’s, fairly handy, and have a Y chromosome. This bed took me all day because I had to clean out screw holes, make new ones, and take apart/reassemble pieces because the instructions stink. They do not show the pieces accurately or indicate which way is up/down/inside/outside. You kind of have to guess. And after all that, the bed is wobbly. I am now going to have to figure out some way to brace it otherwise my kid is not going to be able to use it. As it stands right now, we are both uncomfortable with the stability of the bed.     • Terrible experience
This bed was a Christmas gift for our teenage daughter. It came in very dusty and dirty. It had scratches on it. After overlooking that and attempting to put it together, the instructions were wrong and lacking! What should or could have taken just an hour and a half to assemble took over 4 hours. The pieces seem very cheaply made. Pieces of the wood were bowed. Pieces of the bed wasn’t finished with the gray painting. And a couple pieces broke as we were assembling. This is the worse bed ever! I would really like it apart and ship it back !! It's not even fully painted , not sturdy at all , looks horrible, and wasn't the greatest to put together.
