When I first received this watch it had the “snake of death” & I panicked, completely sure I’d just received a dead watch. I even messaged Amazon & the seller & was ready to return lol. I looked up a video online that said usually when this is showing it just means the battery is extra dead bc it hasn’t been used in a long time. The advice was to let it die completely, as in when you click the buttons the screen stays black. Then charge it & leave it to charge until the watch turns on, even if the snake is still there just let it charge for a while. Also order an apple charger along with this product bc the charger it comes with is not apple & wont properly charge it. Hope this helps anyone considering purchasing or someone who may have already purchased & had the same issue as me! Edit to add: the spots on the screen in my pics are from a screen protector I put on & I just suck at getting the bubbles out lol. The watch came in perfect condition!

This was my 2nd apple watching buying refurbished , the battery life came with 97% which isn’t bad . Everything works good , I gave it a 4 out of 5 . Only because it came with a glued on screen protector , was able to take it off . When I took it off I noticed a scratch on the screen . Not horrible but noticeable . I’ll get it fix and it’ll all be okay . Other than that it’s a good watch . It’s a hit or miss with these . The first watch I got was a SE and that one was refurbished and was in excellent condition . And let it be known I ordered the one that said excellent condition. And had that scratch .

Bottom line: watch works great. Here's the deal: there was at least one other review that said the trash charger sent with the renewed item is trash, well - can confirm. The one CSNY sent me literally quit and started buzzing after 2-3 charges. Secondly, the one I bought was marketed as "Excellent" - not quite the case but close enough to where I don't feel like sending it back. Multiple dings around the bezel. The band is in great condition, watch seems to work fine, got it with 96% max battery life. Out the door with the new charger was ~330$ when a new series 8 is $399. Saving 60$ may not be worth it to me, so may return given the condition I received.

I know with refurbish stuff it’s usually a hit or miss but I got straight up unlucky. -The housing of the watch is damaged as you can see. -The front panel is plastic, I’m convinced. It feels cheap, not like glass. Adding on the distortion while viewing the screen, making it seem pushed it, as if they didn’t laminate it. When viewing the watch while it’s off, you can see how the light hits it. It’s not glass like. - The back glass, where the heart rate sensor is cracked, and chipped. -ECG does not work. I’ve had a Apple Watch, s6, I know I’m not doing it wrong! XD (Also the front panel is not fully attached to the housing. It’s lifting where the chip is) so no water resistance from this point on. I was told to send back the watch, which I am doing. I am hoping they can trade it out of a better one. I do not want a refund. I just want something that’s not doggy poo like this, if you don’t see this review change then I did not get a replacement LOL ;__; thank you! EDIT, so there is a screen protector, explain the feeling of the screen XD IM DUMB The ECG still doesn’t work but hey that ok. Ima keep the watch though, it was nice of them willing to check it out. THANK YOU GUYS!

I was looking for my first Apple Watch. The price for the new series 8 seemed a bit high so I started to look for a Series 7. I found the renewed watch. I bought it in a good condition since I didn’t care about a scratch or 2. The watch looked new, worked as it should, no issues getting wet. Very pleased..and at half the price of a 8. Battery heath was 93%. No issues , no blemishes. Nothing to lose with a 90 day warranty.

The watch worked great and its fast and responsive. Software and touch screen work great. The problem is I bought this as a gift and they do not care about the cleanliness of the product. It was refurbished and great on the function side but it had some gunk built up on the back sensors side. So functionality is great but you’ll have to really give it a detailed cleaning

The watch is in great condition (I bought a “Like New, Renewed” Series 7), no scratches, battery health 100% and standard Apple’s warranty still going for 10 months. However, the band and the charger ARE NOT ORIGINAL. This should be clearly mentioned on the product description. I got a very cheap band and even cheaper USB-A charger that is a lot lighter than the original (the product description said it would be USB-C).

We all know buying refurbished or “renewed” means just that, it’s a gamble and may or may not be in the greatest condition. I got lucky receiving one that was in “excellent condition” and there’s no denying the main Apple Watch itself was scratch-free and held almost 100% battery life. Be warned, while the watch is great, the charging cable and wristband are in fact aftermarket and not of Apple’s normal quality. Charging cable isn’t an issue, still functions as it should, but the band is thin, flimsy and caused my wrist to break out with a rash after 2 days of use (see pic). I still give it 4 stars because for the most part it came as expected for a fraction of the price and upgrading from a 2nd Gen Apple Watch this one is definitely light years ahead. Also, you can purchase new/used Apple bands fairly cheap on eBay which make for an easy solution
