My daughter has a habit of being very hard on her technology. Phone cables typically last her a month or two at most before they suddenly stop working. She uses her phone for everything - games, email, social media, her job, texting, and, of course, for actual phone calls - so having a reliable charging cable or device is, in her mind, crucial. We bought these one specifically because they are braided for durability and they feature a sideways connection. Usually, her cables seem to break down at connector going to her phone, so we decided to do an experiment. Being a multi-pack, if she broke them, she would at least have backups for a bit while we looked for something else. She has had these for several months now and has yet to break a single one of them! She loved them so much that I ended up getting a set for myself. The connector being sideways makes reading on my Kindle app easier as the cable is not in my way or being bent as I read at night, the cable length is perfect for keeping my phone plugged in while letting my babysitting charge use my phone for his allowed screen time as he watches YouTube or plays games, and my pets have yet to destroy them either (though I'm sure one of them could if she ever got hold of it!). These chargers are a really good deal for the price - $40+ at Target for a similar charger is insane! - and are durable enough to be shared between a family or to use when going on a trip. ... show more

Got them for the three for ten bucks deal, but after using them for a month or so I'd have been just as happy paying full price for them. They are very well built and seem to be quite durable. Buy before they go off sale, three for ten bucks is practically free. But imo they're worth the full price as well. ... show more

I bought these for Hubby, who had been having some trouble with the USB port on his tablet. I thought these low-mounted plugins might be the best bet. And they are. Along with doing some cleaning on the port itself, these cords are just the trick. Well-made, sturdy and will last a long time.
