The chair arrives in three LARGE boxes so include any instructions for the delivery person on where to stash the boxes, if not at your front door. The assembly would have been fairly easy but the wheels intended for the back of the bottom base were not able to be mounted because the metal-lined housings were misaligned. However, we will not be moving this chair at all so we overlooked that for our purposed. The chair looks good, operates great, and does everything it claims to do. We especially like the Zero Gravity reclining position, and the Bluetooth audio, which sounds really good and connected without issue to our devices. The settings are varied and useful - we especially like the Stretch and the Sleep auto settings - and definitely have felt the massage benefits we hoped and expected. However, a word of warning if you're under 6' tall! Our biggest complaint about this chair is that it does not adjust for different heights and trunk length, arm length or shoulder height. Therefore, neither of us gets any benefits from the shoulder airbags, and the neck rollers hit at the base or back of the skull if I don't sit on a cushion. And even then, the roller hit t at the base of my skull and not the center of my neck. Also, when I am reclined in the chair - the preferred position for the 15+ minutes of massage - my forearms don't reach to the arm airbags. So I let my hands rest in those airbags - with the pressure effect on my hands and fingers only - and then I bring the chair back forward and do a separate, shorter session on manual setting with my forearms completely in the airbags. The leg/foot rest piece does extend and retract for leg length, which is great. But I do wish there were rollers for the back of the calves, and not just airbags. Anyhow, if I could make one solid recommendation on this chair it would be to enable the shoulder airbags and neck rollers to somehow be moved down for shorter people, and for the arm rests/air bags to somehow slide back toward the reclining person with shorter arms. If we're ever in the market again for a massage chair, we would look for it to be height adjustable. But we would probably pay more for that, I'm guessing, if those types of features even exist in a consumer massage chair. Good massage chair for the money. Relatively easy to assemble, though instructions were sometimes misleading. Not all perfect for people undr 6 ft, but using zero gravity massaging can be adjusted to all locations. Feeling very relieved after using it.

    • Absolutely does not massage my back

I purchased this chair. The assembly was relatively easy, although the instructions were mostly not helpful. Once it was put together, I got in the chair to massage my stiff back and neck. 15 minutes later I realize that this is one of those situations where you absolutely get what you pay for. I am 5'11" man, 200 lbs. with a medium build. This is important because I think the chair might work for people of a different build type. Unfortunately it's unadjustable. The spinners that are supposed to knead muscles do not move up and down your back like every other massage chair I've ever used, they're fixed in place, and they're unadjustable. The bladders that inflate are in the wrong place and also unadjustable, so they do not squeeze the right places. The back massager does not move up and down the back. It turns in place in a few spots, and it's not deep enough to massage the part of the upper back it touches. So it does a light sweep over the upper back. There's a spinner under my neck arch that doesn't touch and is unadjustable. The lower back gets a nice massage. The trapezoids get nothing. The shoulder pads are up by my ears and do not squeeze my shoulders when they inflate, they touch nothing. The arm bladders inflate around my fingers, not my arms, and do not squeeze my arms at all. The legs and hips get a light squeeze but nothing worth mentioning, and the feet get a little spinner action. That's it. There is no thumping action either. I tried all of the settings, and tried sitting on pillows, and now frustrated without feeling massaged and now I have to go through the trouble of selling it and losing money. Some buyers are saying that the seller has to "approve" of my return - I think that means it's not going to be returnable. (It was.) So, if you want a massage chair, I recommend you stay away from this. All this contraption really is is a chair with motors on it that mostly don't touch me. It's not a real massage chair for me. It might massage you, but for me it didn't. Edit: The seller sent me postage paid return FedEx slips and promised a full return. I am sending it back and when they refund me I will update the review again. Upgraded to 2 stars. Edit: The seller refunded me and I henceforth upgraded this to 3 stars. ... show more
