I purchased this to block out the sunlight from an East facing window. It fully blocks out the sunlight if the fit is right. The tools are all included and it was easy to install by myself once I got the hang of it. I thought this was going to be the type that static clings to the windows, but it is adhesive. If it accidentally adheres somewhere you don't want it to, it is very difficult to remove. It pulled some paint off the sill and left residue behind; though getting it on the sill in the first place was an accident on my part. Hopefully that will also mean a long lasting product on the windows now that it is installed.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a window film to darken my rooms, instead I found this. Plus I'm upstairs, I don't mind the heat. I just wanted to be able to see out my windows. I read the reviews, I was scared cuz I'm the ONLY person doing this. I'm seriously proud of myself over this 😊 I suppose 2 people would be ok, it's just me. So I HAVE no choice but to do it myself, I thought this through many times. Had this all figured out how I was gonna do it, till I put the film up against the window to see how it fit. To my surprise, it fit good & my plan would work. I ey the window down like I was suppose to, I peeled the clear plastic away & it stuck. ..... Like that's it, I had to peel it away(which is the HARDEST) part. Once I figured out how to do this, which.... Is easy, I was good. Wet down the window, till water is running down the window. Then carefully put the film on it, y'all don't need 2 people. There will be bubbles, don't worry bout them. Make sure it fits the way y'all want it to, then cut the film of the roll ....... Yes, I left mine in the roll to see how it fit. It worked great, my ONLY complaint is there isn't enough on that roll to do ALL my windows. I got 1 frame done, I had to order 5 more rolls for my other windows. That's ok, I'm gonna see this afternoon how good this stuff is. I'm out proud of myself for doing things that according to society "y'all need a guy in y'all life" no I don't. I can do this ALL by myself, I've been self sufficient since I was a kid. I'm 53, I did the exact opposite of what every review said to do. I'm not a perfectionist, I'm germophic. I will make sure no bubbles are left by the end of the day. I'm pretty happy with this, so far 😊 by the by, I live in Oklahoma where it's 110 out right now. So if this helps with keeping my upstairs unit cool & runs my air less (which is set to 80) then I'll be happy. UPDATE::::::::: I went through & fixed them so they don't over lap, it wasn't that bad. It took me a minute, but y'all can still do this even with 1 person. I'm no where near perfectionist, if y'all get the window wet enough (good luck on this, as y'all are spraying it's drying 🤦 it can be done. Maybe NOT in 110 heat) I got them done, I'll tape the corners down cuz that's what it is driving me crazy. Even on the 1s I didn't redo, that's ok. I'll tape them down, other then that...... The sun is on me yet I don't feel the heat, I like being able to see outside. I like that my air isn't running constantly. This was worth the price, I got it on sale plus click the 6% discount & it was only $9.99......a roll, that's not bad. I got 5 more rolls, so I have extra. I'm working on getting an ESA & service dog, I'll see next year how they handle this. If need be I'll UPDATE on that too. 😊 I will buy again if I need more

FuFin One-Way Window Film promises easy privacy and heat control, but the experience may be less than ideal. Here's what you need to know: Pros: One-Way Effect: Does offer some privacy during daylight hours, blocking views in while allowing you to see out. Some Heat Reduction: Noticeable reduction in direct sunlight, but don't expect full heat blocking. Cons: Finicky Installation: Instructions were unclear, and the film itself is very prone to air bubbles and creases. Getting a flawless application is difficult. Fragile: The film feels thin and flimsy, making it easy to tear or wrinkle during handling. May not be durable long-term. Night-Time Visibility Reversal: At night, when lights are on inside, the privacy effect flips and people can see inside. Tip: Watch online installation tutorials beforehand for the best chance of success. Be very patient and careful during application. Overall: This might be a viable option for short-term privacy needs, but be prepared for a potentially frustrating installation process and limitations in effectiveness. The film is actually very forgiving which I appreciate. Bought for privacy reasons plus didn’t want to purchase curtains and rods so this was my alternative. Best pro so far is that it reduces the heat in the room! Tools the kit came with are efficient and really does the job. I like this kit and would purchase again. Can’t show what it looks like on the outside because it is on an upstairs window , sorry. I just finished installation and am writing the review right after and it works fast in reducing heat. It’s HOT this 2024 summer Never tinted anything in my life but installation wasn’t as bad as I expected, definitely need to take your time though and don’t give up. I was struggling to do by myself and the film would stick to itself but it is very forgiving and you can just unravel it and it’s fine. I luckily had my own spray bottle, I honestly think the one it comes with wouldn’t do anything lol it’s so small but I understand why it is. I’d keep a bowl or cup of soapy water mixture by you to refill the spray bottle if you don’t have your own.
