My boat with a 2015 Yamaha 90 HP 4-stroke outboard (F90XA) came with a MAR-FUELF-IL-TR Fuel Water Separator Filter. I couldn't find it, but in a bunch of research found out that it was replaced with the MAR-10MEL-00-00; i.e. this one. The old one was blue but all else is the same and it fits. When I replaced it I did not fill it with gasoline and was worried if, and how the air would get out. I've used it for about 2 dozen trips and there were no issues. I installed this fuel water separator filter on my outboard engine. I always question whether or not these filters are doing their job, given that these are not the OEM filters. So far, I have used this for one season with more than 100 hours, and they have held up. It is time to replace the filter again, and I would recommend these if you are in a pinch. ... show more
