I really wanted a pen that looked better in my living room than those hideous white plastic pens. I have a 4, almost 5 lb six month old Yorkie pup. This pen is very attractive! Because it’s clear it keeps the room feeling open. The solid plexiglass panels are easier to clean when my male Yorkie pees on them. The plastic pens have a lot of grooves that are difficult to get into. My dog is an escape artist. Although he can still jump this pen, he hasn’t gotten out yet because he feet have nothing to grip onto like with other pens. This pen was very easy to set up. It was well packaged and basically fully assembled in the box. I only had to screw in two pieces and remove the protective plastic. It is rather heavy. It truly is foldable. It’s probably not something easy to travel with because of its weight. I didn’t plan on using it for that purpose. It feels sturdy enough for my nearly 5 lb dog to jump up on. I think it’s a great and more attractive solution to other pens for very small lightweight dogs and other lightweight animals. ... show more

I was a professional dog trainer for many years. I have multiple small dogs ranging in age from seven months to fifteen years old. Size ranges from six - sixteen pounds. I work remotely from home. I purchased the pen to place next to my desk. The goal was to get my seven month old dog used to being contained in the pen if I need to leave the house - still too young to have free run of the house. I set the pen up next to my desk. I put a comfy bed, blanket, and multiple toys in there. I just left the door open. Over the last five days every one of my dogs has investigated and hung out in the pen on their own. They love it. The door did come with a crack, but the seller sent me a replacement immediately. I believe the pen is sturdy for small dogs, or calm bigger dogs. You can tighten the panels so they don't move around, but you need to use common sense to determine if this will work with your particular dog. Nothing works for all dogs. I have multiple other pens - wire and canvas. I find this pen to be my favorite for using inside the house because it just looks better, and the dog can see what's going on around them. Better quality and strength than the wired or fabric play pen but still not suitable for dog other than extra small or very young puppy. My labradoodle is 12 weeks old and this will hold her but not for long. The screws on top come loose after she tries to hop over (not tall enough unless very young puppy). The clear panels are great, assembly not necessary which was huge, and optics are way better that the crappy wired fence pen. Good value but prob cannot use after a few more weeks. ... show more

I received this product and was initially very excited to try it out on our new puppy, a small breed Frenchton. I left her in it fur the first time and headed out to the office only to receive a call from my son when he got home from school saying that the entire pen had collapsed and almost injured our dog. The plastic screws had popped out. I put the pen back together and realized that if the pen was moved at all or received any pressure from the inside, the screwed became loose/ disconnected from the pen. I contacted the seller who approved my return. However, he wanted me to pay for shipping…to California. When I purchased this item, it was listed as Prime and said Free Returns. I wouldn’t have purchased it otherwise. At any rate, I went back and forth for almost 2 months with customer service and was told u would have to ship it back myself and pay for shipping. I had already paid $235 for the product and had to spend another $200 to purchase a replacement product. I am a single Mom and could not afford to spend another $100+ on shipping. Not to mention, the box is big and heavy. At the end of it all, I was stuck with a defective product, received horrible customer service from Amazon (1st time ever) and had to resell it locally losing $110. I will also say that the seller stalled for weeks asking for pictures if the product, asking be what type of dog I had, etc. I gave him everything I was asked for and got nothing for any of my efforts. The media could not be loaded. I’m so so soooo glad I came across this gold color play plan. All of the others are silver or black and I’m such a diva that I searched and searched for a gold one and this is so cute! Super super easy to set up and came in perfect condition!

I love this pen. It’s pricey but worth it. . I ordered the first one to make sure I liked it then ordered a second. Currently I have to keep my male and female bunnies apart. Wanted to make sure that they had plenty of hopping space until they are able to move back in with one another. I purchased two 8 panel pens. I find that if you set it up long and skinny, it’s a little wobbly. Setting it up in a square is way better. Perfect size and the 8 panel pen is taller and prevents bunnies from jumping out. All that said, I’m pleased with these and look way better in the house than an ugly cage. ... show more
