I purchased this for my dog as an outdoor playpen. I was really nervous about purchasing this because there were scary negative reviews. there was also reviews that mentioned it was a pain to get a return processed. I purchased it anyway and wished for luck. I was pleasantly surprised when my item arrived. 1. It was two days early 2. It came with all the pieces the same size, quantity and quality- no broken pieces. 3. It came with complete instructions After assembling I put my dog in the crate. I love it. Here’s why 1. The panels are all welded and assembled prior to arrival. While it’s not made out of a heavy duty metal it has sturdy enough panels where my dog can’t press up against the cage and wiggle out the bottom. 2. It was super easy to put together. 3. It’s not ugly. Some warnings *Bigger dogs and rambunctious dogs beware. It could probably hold a toddler but not a dog who is in a frenzy. * it was pricy but after I shopped around this was the best priced one. I feel it could be a little cheaper or the quality could be improved to a more sturdy quality for the price I paid for this pen. You may want to purchase zip ties, steaks to stake the fence down. Paint to repaint or give a thicker paint job on the fence. ... show more

We have a little bulldog, Chihuahua, Pekingese, pitbull, etc. etc. known as a Heinz 57 or around here a northern New Mexico trail mix dog. Who can fly! This is the first enclosure she hasn’t escaped from. It’s well-made it’s easy to put together we configured it against a house so it’s longer than 8 feet. I purchased a second cover to cover the rest of it and it worked great. This is also the best price I could find. ... show more

It’s nice, easy to put together and fairly sturdy. My only issue was that I think I got a returned one. When I opened the box it looked like someone had already tried to put it together. The hardware bag was torn open already and I was missing some end caps and bolts with wings so I could not assemble the roof. I got in contact with the seller and they were able to offer a partial refund. Overall, I guess it’s luck of the draw in terms of whether you get a complete product and how much your willing to risk in expense. ... show more

    • Door lock needs a bungee cord to secure it
My Aussie ate an end of the cord so we have the second one. The lock is sharp and hard to close. Everyone else is steady and good size for a 65lbs 1 yr old dog.

I bought this product less then 6 months ago. 3 months ago the top ripped.I called the numbwr for customer service, NOTHING. 2 MOnths ago I tried again Called and Called no Answer, Left message NOTHING..FINALLY Last week it ripped in half.. see picture.. Finally last week I was able to speak to a Customer servive rep. She was Nice. She said she thought if there was a Warranty it was onoly 90 Days. If they would warranty it I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE IT APART AND SHIP IT BACK, THEY WONT GIVE ME THEY TOP, THEY WONT SELL ME THE TOP. And I must pay for shipping AND A BOX TO SHIP IT IN ..And take it apart I am 70 years old with heart condition It Took me 3 hours to put it up. To make it worse I am a repeat customer I bought a different PEN for my RV for $300.. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT, IF OU HAVE A PROBLEM THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU...I will buy a new top But they wont even sell me one, 6 MONTHS OLD....Look at the Picture ... show more

    • Used for only 3 weeks and it's rusting all around the lower perimeter of the kennel
I've been using this kennel for only three weeks and have it sitting upon a bedrock of crushed gravel, so not really touching dirt. It is already starting to rust all around the lower areas of the kennel. I'm thinking about returning it while there is still time (a hassle for me), or just buy a few cans of black Rustoleum spray paint to rectify the problem. Tried to contact the seller about this problem but can't get through using the obvious channels here on Amazon. Other than that... it was easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough for my standard poodle puppy. If you plan to use it indoors you'll probably be happy with it. I just initiated a return and now see this return policy > "This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt. You may receive a partial or no refund on used, damaged or materially different returns." Well, it's not in it's original condition I've used it and IT HAS RUST. Does that mean i'll receive a PARTIAL or NO refund?? Also, I see that my original cost for shipping will not be refunded AND I am required to pay for return shipping. AVOID THIS SELLER. ... show more

    • Nice Pen, Not for Escape Artists
This was fairly easy to assemble and set up. I put it up on a flat level concrete pad, so that helped. My little Aussie isn't a fence climber or escape artist, so it suits him for the purpose of an outdoor area during the day (I set it up next to the house so that he can use the doggie door to come and go into the covered breezeway). I ended up wiring the outside kennel door shut because it is particularly flimsy and doesn't fit tight. This would not keep an aggressive climber or escape artist in, but is nice for a little hang out spot for non challenging dogs. I think it would also be easy to dig under or push under if not on a non yielding surface. ... show more
