This product has many pieces and very basic instructions. If you are not comfortable with this situation, this item may not be for you. This fence makes most Ikea products seem simple. The materials are solid and the powder coating has held up during assembly. Assembly tip #1 & #2, use a cordless drill with the appropriate size socket. There fence is held together with many, many bolts & nuts. Without a power tool, assembly could take forever. Tip #3, count the number of brackets used to connect the various bars together. The instructions are not clear but each junction uses two brackets. Some are the same bracket, some are different. At the corners make sure the holes go the right way. If you don't you will have to take the corner apart to install the canopy. This is not a quick build but the product is solid. We are going to use it for a raised bed garden. The deer are a big nuisance.

Make sure to have a power drill or 2/( 4)and make it a family thing cause you’ll need the extra hands it’s a lot of parts and it will take time maybe turn it into a game team work for each side trust me!each team gets a drill and a el shaped tool. It comes with 1 el shaped tool but if you don’t wanna use the drill or multiple drills you can buy the el shaped tools at Walmart or the part store! The drill will get it done hours faster..first team to get there side done gets money , pizza ,no chores ,ect….. it’s worth it once its up and done but if you don’t like diy or party diy I don’t recommend perfect for my bully the top doesn’t hold water the cage part you put in so it’s not sturdy stiff but it sturdy enough to hold you dog in once done and tight. Assembly is easy on eve you separate the parts and use power tools and have extra hands to help.its functional don’t expect to finish it if you doing it by yourself in one or two days using only the tools they give you especially if you work …you need a powered screwdriver with the star bit thingy and a lot of daylight so start really early..it’s still standing after thunderstorms and a hurricane it comes with two rectangle big heavy boxes

Full top ripped out first wind storm we had cannot get no one to replace the top cannot find a replacement top and the wire is going across the side of it. The dogs can completely tear them apart. They are not as strong as they say they are.

This is beyond value for your money as well as being sturdy and great quality material. The size is wonderful, very pleasing appearance. But be prepared to be overwhelmed by the number of parts. Just take a deep breath, follow the instructions and it's not as bad as it looks. Also be assured they have the best customer service around. Questions, problems or anything they are there to help you. Only draw back is all communication is via email, no phone number but they are pretty prompt in getting back to you. Overall I'd say buy it you won't be sorry.

Update on my review… After the first snow we had of the season, the whole roof has collapsed in with only 3-4 inches of fluffy snow. Bent the poles, brackets, and ripped the cover. Now I’m completely unsure of the quality. We purchased this product for our outside dog so we had somewhere safe for him at night and in the rain. Although it seems strong, only time will tell. But I will say, this was NOT as easy to assemble as suggested. You have to note that what they consider one piece in the instructions, is actually two pieces fitted together. Once you figure out that confusing bit, it goes pretty smoothly. Another downfall we ran into were several stripped or busted locktight nuts. They do send a few extra but we had at least a dozen that were completely useless. Have someone handy, this is more of a two person job. Took us 4 days of me coming home from work and trying to beat the sundown which was about 2 hours of work per day. This item also didn’t arrive when it said it would. Said it would be there the 27th, didn’t arrive until the 30th. We picked this item specifically for the delivery date. I feel for $70 shipping cost, it should have arrived on time. 🤷🏽♀️

It took some time to put together. I enjoyed the challenge of putting this dog cage together. Putting this cage together helped me bond with my kids more. We worked as a team and put it together in the rain. I will be buying this cage again soon. Thank you! Dogs love it!

The roof was crushed during a storm that dumped 1.5 inches of snow. I bought this kennel in November and assembled it over thanksgiving weekend. Not even two months later, during the first snow of the season, the roof was crushed. The vendor offered to send me replacement parts for the part of the roof free of charge. I was able to restore the kennel so I can get a few more months of use out of it. Still, this kennel is not sturdy enough to withstand wind and snow. It is good for an area that is not exposed to the elements
