  • Puppy Housebreak hotel..!
Style: Natural Wood
We actually bought this house for our 2 blue heelers. But, before we could even use it, our female had a litter of pups. When they got too big for our whelping box in the house, we decided this would be a great place for them to live outside until we could find homes for them. My husband and son-in-law built a pen, of sorts, to go around it. Worked out perfectly. The pups actually house-broke themselves living in it. They would never go poddy in the house or on the deck. They would run out into the 'yard' area and go poddy. So, when we gave one to our daughter at 7 weeks old. She kept him in the crate when not at home and at night when he was sleeping. But, as soon as he had to go poddy during playtime in the house, he went straight to the door and whimpered to go outside. Lol... Love this doghouse! Very easy to clean and access while the pups were inside. Gave them good shelter in bad weather. Only note is that the wood is pretty thin so if you have very large heavy dogs or a chewer, it might not hold up. But, otherwise, for us it is working out great. :) ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
Style: Natural Wood
If your dog weighs more than 20 pounds and/or you have more than one dog, do not buy this. If your dog is active and playful, do not buy this. Within a month of having this, the side railing broke off and the inside of the dog house started caving in. The dog house is made with such cheap quality product, it will not last long. You are better off buying plastic or building your own. The dog house is also smaller than what you imagined. We kept wondering why our puppy would come on with scratches where it looked like his fur was shaved off and it was due to this dog house falling apart: wood breaking, screws being exposed. I do not recommend this at all. For the price and the quality, I would recommend something else for your fur babies. Contacting the seller has been an absolute nightmare. I have not been able to get ahold of anyone and now we are down $300+ and our dogs have no dog house because we have this pile of wood taking up space in our yard. ... show more

  • Finished product is good, but assembly was a nightmare
Style: Natural Wood
The instructions were very unclear in places. There were only diagrams and no written instructions. There were a couple of times when I had to disassemble pieces because I had done it incorrectly due to poor diagrams. I started out using hand tools to assemble, but it was difficult because some of the wood was knotted and the longer screws wouldn't go in all the way. It came to a head when assembling the inner wall (the wall separating the two halves of the duplex). All the pieces had pre-started holes, but the ones for the inner wall were in the wrong place. If I had used those, I wouldn't have been able to assemble the floor properly. I finally broke down and bought a power driver (I would need it later for other projects anyway) and just drilled new holes. That way, I got it mostly put together by myself, but hit a snag with the roof. The roof is impossible for a single person to assemble. Help is required. I finally got it done (with help), and I like the finished product, but there were far more hassles than there should have been. ... show more

  • Very good starter project
Style: Grey
Very easy to build and a great platform to build off of. My only suggestion would be to plan on repainting and create more solid mounting points so it can last forever! Overall good purchase

  • Not THAT big. But great for a small or small-medium dog!
Style: Grey
So it IS a nice size… for a dog smaller than mine. I should’ve measured him before I bought this (face palm emoji). It really is pretty cool and I put it together myself (I’d recommend another person helping). It’s sturdy and everything. But my dog is a border collie mix, so like 48 lbs. He’s too tall to fit inside unless he ducks down, which he won’t because he’s 14. We’ve had my brother-in-law cut the openings to make them bigger but we’re still not there yet. Next up is removing the porch (which is a good size for any dog). That might enable him to be able to get through. Because of his mobility issues, I was looking for a dog house with a LARGE opening. And this seemed the perfect alternative. The regular dog houses won’t work for him because he can’t turn around the way he used to. I probably should’ve just commissioned a carpenter to build one custom. It really is a beautiful house with a sweet porch! Would be great for a corgi, Shetland sheepdog, schnauzer, Beagle, Bassett hound, bull dog (English or French), etc. any of the other medium-sized dog breeds might be too tall. ... show more

  • Cheep
Style: Grey
It is cheeply made with very thin wood cheep wood. Had to reframe part of it as the wood split as soon as you put a screw in it. The instructions for putting it together are abysmal at best. Definitely not worth the money. Go to your local tractor supply or something and get get one it's much better I promise ... show more

  • Nice but thin
Style: Natural Wood
Easy to assemble. My wife with no experience on assembling things like this, was able to do it.

  • Amazing!!!
Style: Natural Wood
The instructions were all clear and easy to follow. It is the perfect size for both of my small dogs. One board did come broken. Since it came with a few extra screws, I used that to put the board back together.
