Description

How long do the mineral and SmartChlor cartridges last? The blue mineral cartridge lasts 4 months. The silver SmartChlor Cartridge lasts 3 to 4 weeks depending on the size of your hot tub and how often it is used. Replace the SmartChlor Cartridge when FROG @ease flips over. What impacts the life of the SmartChlor Cartridge? Water balance is very important – especially avoid pH over 7.8 as it will degrade the effectiveness of SmartChlor. Over circulation such as being pulled into the filter well will also deplete the cartridge (using a tether is recommended). How is FROG @ease different from traditional sanitizing methods? FROG @ease combines SmartChlor and sanitizing minerals to keep your hot tub clean, clear and ready to use. Prefilled cartridges keep it simple and it flips over when the SmartChlor Cartridge is empty. What is Fresh Mineral Water? FROG’s Sanitizing Minerals and a low level of SmartChlor make cleaner, clearer, softer water that's easier to take care of. It's sanitized water without the harshness of other products and with prefilled cartridges; it's much easier too. What's included in the box? 1 FROG @ease Mineral Cartridge, 1 SmartChlor Cartridge, 1 FROG Jump Start Packet and 30 FROG @ease Test Strips FROG @ease System FROG @ease Bundle FROG @ease Bundle FROG @ease SmartChlor FROG Maintain FROG Balancing Kit FROG @ease Test Strips

  • Great for family sized hot tubs
Size: @ease System
The FROG @Ease Floating Sanitizing System for Hot Tubs is a convenient and efficient solution for maintaining clean and sanitary water in your hot tub. As a hot tub owner who values simplicity and effective water care, I was intrigued by this product. After several weeks of using the FROG @Ease system, I can confidently say that it offers a hassle-free approach to hot tub maintenance. One of the standout features of the FROG @Ease system is its ease of use. The system includes a pre-filled SmartChlor cartridge and a mineral cartridge that work together to provide continuous sanitization and mineral conditioning for your hot tub water. The cartridges are designed to be placed in a floating holder, which disperses the sanitizing agents into the water as the hot tub circulates. This simple setup eliminates the need for daily monitoring and manual dosing of chemicals, making water maintenance a breeze. The combination of SmartChlor and mineral conditioning offers effective sanitization and helps to keep the water balanced. The SmartChlor cartridge provides a consistent release of chlorine, maintaining a proper residual level in the hot tub to eliminate bacteria and other contaminants. The mineral cartridge, on the other hand, utilizes minerals such as silver and copper to inhibit the growth of algae and reduce the need for additional chemical treatments. Together, they create a synergistic effect that keeps the water clean and clear. The FROG @Ease system is designed to be self-regulating, which means it adjusts the chlorine and mineral levels based on the demand of the water. This feature helps to maintain a more stable and consistent water chemistry, reducing the need for frequent manual adjustments. However, it's important to regularly check and adjust the pH and alkalinity levels to ensure optimal water balance. I found that the FROG @Ease system significantly reduced the amount of time and effort required for hot tub maintenance. The ease of use and convenience of the floating holder allowed for worry-free water care, particularly during busy periods or vacations when regular maintenance might be overlooked. The system is compatible with most hot tub models and can last up to four weeks before cartridge replacement is necessary. One consideration to note is that the FROG @Ease system may not be suitable for hot tubs with very high bather loads or extremely large volumes of water. In such cases, additional chlorine or shock treatments may be required to supplement the sanitization process. It's important to assess the specific needs of your hot tub and adjust the maintenance routine accordingly. In conclusion, the FROG @Ease Floating Sanitizing System offers a convenient and effective solution for hot tub water care. Its self-regulating and easy-to-use design simplifies maintenance, reducing the time and effort required to keep the water clean and balanced. While it may not be suitable for all hot tub configurations, the system provides a reliable and hassle-free option for most users. If you're looking for a user-friendly and efficient approach to hot tub sanitization, the FROG @Ease system is worth considering for a more enjoyable and hassle-free hot tub experience. ... show more

  • A highly recommended way to maintain spa water chemicals.
Size: @ease System
I easy way to keep spa water clean and properly adjusted. I maintain a spa for a neighbor that has a hose that they use most weekends as a get away house. I have used the Frog @Ease system for several years. The Frog system keeps the chemicals on an even base that means I do not need to check the water chemicals every day. Most of the time I only need to check everything only once a week and at times it may be well into a second week before I can get over to check on things. Since using the Frog system the water has stayed clear with just a little addition to the PH or alkalinity levels on occasion. ... show more

  • Good Visual Que to Change Canister
Size: @ease System
I converted to the @Ease floating system from the system out of site next to the filter. This bobs in the water, chlorine side down, when that canister doing it's job well. The ball rotates over time to submerge the blue mineral cartridge when there isn't enough chlorine in that canister to keep it submerged - a visual signal to change the chlorine canister. Under operation, it tends to float near the filter just because the jets push it that way. Recommended. ... show more
