The Frizzlife RO Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System (600 GPD) was very easy to install, works smoothly, and produces clean, great-tasting water. Living with well water that needed to be softened, we missed unsoftened water's clean taste. This system allows the softened water to be "returned to its great tasting state (remineralized). FrizzLife has been nothing but a positive experience for me with their other filters. I expect nothing but the best and after the installation of this unit, I'll update this review. Jan 19, 2024 UPDATE Everything installed much easier than the old tank system. A half inch hole is needed for the RO faucet. I did have one issue, a leak with a rubber flat washer that seals the tee-fitting to the supply valve. The washer had a nick on the edge of it. After a run to the plumbing house, they suggested an o-ring in place of the flat washer. Problem solved. I wish this had been addressed in the installation guide. That would have saved me some aggravation and a trip to the store. I'm keeping my rating at 4 because they need better accessability to tech services. A phone number or at least a chat line. I had a question on mounting the alkaline filter horizontally instead of vertically. You have to send an email and wait a day for an answer. Really??? I went ahead and mounted it horizontally and the next day I got the replying email confirming that it is fine to mount it horizontally. I have tried alkaline water and don't like the taste of it. This was my biggest concern with this unit. The final filter is a mineral/alkaline filter which helps to balance the pH and get the water out of the acidic pH. By the way, the water tastes great. I'm so pleased with the water. It's crystal clear, odorless, and tastes wonderful. No more hauling 5 gallon jugs from the grocery store.

Finally got around to getting and installing an under sink reverse osmosis system, and wow the difference is so obvious! Had been using brita filters and could still smell and taste impurities. With Frizzlife RO just great tasting water, after adding back in the minerals. If I could make one critique it's that I think the sodium add back is a little too high. We all get way too much salt in our foods so that one could be dialed back leaving just the mg, k, and ca. Sleek looking unit too, gives off a hum when turned on. Minor 1-2s of sputtering when turning on faucet. I fill glass carafes for the fridge anyway so not a big deal. Installation wasn't too bad, although the flow to my faucet noticeably decreased. Perhaps I did something wrong. When my unit developed a leak from the bottom early on, customer service sent me a replacement. Great service too!

Installation was simple. The application for this reverse osmosis system is for an espresso machine which previously had to be sent to the manufacturer for scale removal. We were advised the mineralization cartridge values are as follows: K: 0.3~1.5 mg/L Ca: 0.5~8 mg/L Na: 0.1~8 mg/L Mg: 0.1~1 mg/L We are hopeful that the Frizzlife system reverse osmosis, water treatment with this remineralization will prevent further scale buildup, while, at the same time, provide minerals for great tasting coffee extraction. We will update. Will now purchase another unit PD800 and integrate another remin cartridge , very satisfied with PD 600 and will use for drinking water. PD 1000 will be used for espresso machines. We have purchased two units 2nd unit PD 1000 TAM4: Both the tapwater and the well water in southwest Michigan is contaminated with 100-225ppm chlorides. Which are guaranteed to cause damage to very expensive espresso machines. Only reverse osmosis will remove chlorides. Frizzlife PD 1000 eliminates almost 100% of these and other contaminants. The TAM4 re-mineralization filter provides adequate minerals for good espresso machine operation as well as good mineral balance for coffee flavor extraction. We highly recommend this product for cafes and home use. Some say the TDS is high after letting the system set for 8-10 hours. Please know this is expected, as the RO water that is restin in the remineralization filter has collected more of the healthy minerals. This is actually a good result! If one wishes a certain level f minerals, they could fill a fairly large pitcher. The TDS results will then be diluted. A water hardness test should be performed before using this water in your very expensive espresso machines! Also note that it is highly recommended to use a water softener upstream of this reverse osmosis system when the water will be supplying espresso machines. The ideal water hardness for espresso machines is between 50-80ppm Total Hardness for best taste and to avoid machine damage.
