This is a very nice freezer and it’s a very nice size. The freezer itself is light, so it’s easy to move into place. It is very quiet running and in fact, we temporarily had it in a bedroom and it didn’t bother us at all . Keeps the items frozen well, and we installed baskets in it.

This chest freezer gives me all the space I needed for leftovers, stocking up on meats and frozen meals to save money, and have frozen water bottles at my disposal for frequent hurricanes when we anticipate losing power here in FL. My order came quickly, but was damaged (back corner dented). Most likely in transit from forklift. I must say, I contacted the merchant, Frugal Buys CA LLC, and they answered SAME DAY, and shipped me a new one. FedEx came to pick up the damaged unit, and I received a new unit very soon after. Frugal Buys CA LLC kept in close contact with me during the entire process. If it hadn't been for them, their professionalism, and their quick solution, I would have cancelled and went to Home Depot, but paid more money. The unit is quiet, very efficient, is very deep, and has a wire basket. As I researched other brands and was surprised how many products come with plastic baskets. The black unit was an added perk! I needed a freezer for my camp house. I received my freezer three days earlier than expected. Box was undamaged and everything appeared ok. After unboxing , I discovered that it had decent ding down near the thermostat. I was a little worried on bow the damage occurred before the unit was boxed up, but after I plugged it in and let it run a little while, it started working just fine. Not real happy about the ding, but at this price, and for the 7 ft capacity, I'd still say it was a good deal for the money spend. The unit is pretty quiet, just a mild hum. The size fit perfectly in my small camp house. Freeze capacity is very good as well. Now that I've read some of the other reviews, these must be dent and ding models, but thet still work great. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't dinged up. ... show more

When I've connected the new freezer to the power, it makes noises but does not freeze. I gave it a night to get to temperature - nothing. I've moved the thermostat up and down - nothing. Finally, I've tried to check what's going on, opened the motor compartment and found a piece of melted/burned insulation inside. So, not only this is a malfunctioning unit, it's a fire hazard for my house! Now in order to get my money back I need to find new box large enough to hold it, since I've thrown the old box away already, and bother shipping this back. ... show more

Delivered fast with no issues which is already a plus it’s it has different settings which is nest frozen/deepfreeze/refrigerate I’m using it mainly for breastmilk plugged it in an about an hour ish or so it started doing its thing so far so good
