    • Marvelous little deep freeze that may get damaged in shipping
This is a great little deep freeze. It's on wheels so it's easy to move around or even keep under a counter until needed. It stays very cold, is extremely quiet, and uses almost no power. It is small for a chest freezer but fits more food than I expected. It is not nearly as unwieldy as a full size chest freezer. Perfect when you need a bit more freezer space in an apartment. It is extremely efficient. The most efficient of any fridge or freezer I have tested. My 500 watt hour battery bank ran it for 30 hours. I bought this mainly to keep my food fresh during power outages since I live in apartment and it works great. If you need a freezer you can run on a battery this is as good as it gets! Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, mine also came damaged. I was lucky, just a few dings on the corners that don't affect usability. But just a warning be prepared for damage and the possibility you may have to return it if severe. To me, it's still worth buying because you won't find anything else like it. Unfortunately I never set this freezer up to turn it on to test the item itself. I purchased the freezer as "new" and received a very used, dented unit. The bottom was stained and had white duct tape over areas that must have been torn (the bottom was some white corrugated material (plastic?). I have attached a photo. I couldn't tell if the stains were from the coolant or from water. There were dents on the sides. I did not want to risk turning it on in case the stains were from coolant material. Also, there was a small plastic bag around the electrical elements at the bottom (to protect them from leaking??). The seller was very prompt and processed the return immediately. But this is a heavy, bulk item that was a lot of work to package back up to return. I did get a full refund. I was very disappointed as this little freezer was the perfect size, shape and was on wheels. ... show more

Got it for emergency (power failure) backup use with Bluetti supply; had 2 outages a week apart, one for nearly 2 days- worked fine. Now am also using to expand frozen food storage capability. It's considerably colder than refrigerator freezer, even at medium setting. One star off for somewhat mediocre packing for shipment. It was received with some minor damage to lid; also would not seal good when closed. this was easily cured by adjustment of hinges. Entire unit somewhat cheaply cobbled together -sheet metal screws-, but seems to be holding up fine. ... show more

It works well. It’s very roomy & spacious inside. It holds a lot of food. I love this feature. I like it that it’s not too heavy to move it around. I love it that the product has wheels. It makes my life much easier. It makes it easy to move the product around. I am only 5 feet 3, 130 pounds, & I can move this product around the house very easily. I would buy this product again. I would recommend this product to my friends. I am happy with this product. I’ve paid $260.00. I wish it was cheaper. It arrives very fast in only 3 days. It was dented on the top, but I think that is the fed ex guys’ fault, & not the sender’s fault. It is dented on the top, but it still works well. ... show more

    • Great small freezer
I have only had this freezer for two weeks but it seems far better than the one that was replaced which died after two years. the Avanti is only $30 dollars more and .4 cubic feet bigger but it seems to be a much more professional piece of equipment than the other brand. The temperature control appears to be far more precise and at only 2.5 cubic feet it seems to hold twice as much as the 2.1 cubic foot one. The layout is superior so more of the space is available. This one is a top loader while the old one was a front loader. Thus, I have a rather deep well which can accomodate a lot of items. The interior is covered by a kind of shiny fabric that seems to me to be similar to wallpaper, so one should be careful to avoid using a scraper. There is a drain at the bottom for defrosting which should make it easy to clean. I have the thing sitting on a large pan with a one inch lip. Best of all it has small rollers on the bottom which makes it very easy to move. It is also quiet and it appears to be off much of the time but still keeps things rock solid at the mid level temperature. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As with a lot of the reviews, mine came damaged. But on top of that, the manufacturing was also faulty. The lid is not put on correctly, so it doesn’t lineup squarely on the top and also the brackets on the back of the lid are not at the same height so it’s slanted. The lid will not completely close so the freezer will not actually work. I do actually wonder why they don’t have better packaging also if this many people are getting damaged products. It only had a four little cardboard edge pieces and some real thin Styrofoam against the box. But to be perfectly honest, I would’ve tolerated the dent if it would’ve just worked. I really needed one at this moment so I could swap fridges out so it’s pretty disappointed that I waited as long as I did only to now have to repackage it up. Try to ship it back in order to get a refund. I tried to see if they would even replace it but got a response saying it is not available to be replaced right now. So really my only option is to return it and get a refund and then re-purchase it. Super frustrating. ... show more
