A wonderful product to communicate with all different groups for all different ways. I purchased my classic light when they first came out years ago and it still works well. I used it to send love to a long distance Cousin across the country, later a daughter n law we kind of communicate when we’re sleeping or up, then my daughter added a lamp for the same reason. We each have our special color. Installation was a breeze. I first had some communication with my lamp dropping off my private network. Their tech support is amazing after all these years. They are priced so well, have different styles now and offer remote touch for a nominal fee. you can activate your lamp to the members of from anywhere in the app. You can also add additional groups. I love these friendship lamps. I travel a lot during the winter and got them to let my granddaughter know when I was thinking of her. She loves that she got to pick her own color and with a simple tap she can contact me and vice versa. They are really pretty lamps and would go well with any decor. I love that they have a "sleep" mode, so you can tell it during what times you don't want it to light up so if you chose to keep it in your bedroom, it wouldn't wake you up. There are multiple colors to choose from, you can set how bright or dim you want it, and the length of time you'd like it to light up. A great way to quickly let someone know you're thinking of them. I love it so much I purchased another one for my best friend too.

The media could not be loaded. This is THE BEST gift for distant family and friends! For Christmas this past year, I bought 6 - 4 for one side of the family and 2 for the other. I was able to easily set up each lamp, assign different colors and get them on the same group then ship them out. My kids LOVE to see the lights turn colors when their aunt and grandparents are touching the lamp! It’s been a continuous gift - we’re at the end of January now and everyone still loves the little light that changes when you’re thinking of someone! It’s fun too - my mom will say “I know when your kids get home because my lamp turns blue!” When we saw red this morning we said “oh grandpa touched it!” Truly the best gift that keeps giving. I’m going to add another two and send out to my aunt and cousins in Canada so they can join the fun. We are in CT, we have two other lamps sent to different areas of CT, then Ohio and FL in the group now.

My best friend had the audacity to move half way across the country…rude right?! I wanted something fun that could keep us ALL (kids and husbands included) connected and interacting even when life is crazy busy and kids are crazy feral. Sometimes we just can’t get to the phone……but tapping a lamp on your way past it is always easy! These were so easy to set up. I had a set delivered to me, set them up and shipped hers to her. We have had SO much fun. There have been battles and I feel like the faeries from Sleeping Beauty fighting over the color of the dress 😂 I recommend them and would buy them again!

Setup and connection was easy. The concept and thought is awesome, but it could be better. There’s only one daytime brightness, and the sleep mode or nighttime mode only lasts a few seconds when you touch it, and isn’t consistent (sometimes it’ll light up for 1 second, sometimes up to 3 or 4) Would be cooler to be able to have dimming options, and let it last longer at night when you touch it (as of now, with sleep mode on, it lasts about two seconds, and sometimes can be very glitchy ie- flashing, flickering, before it goes dark again) Would also be cool if it would combine two colors ( yours is red, theirs is blue, if you both touch the lamps at the same time they turned purple, so you could see that you’re both “connected” in that moment, and then return to their individual colors when your hands are removed) Also the web interface is a bit slow and clunky, but not horrible. Overall, not bad. Could be better, but it isnt bad.

I bought these lamps on impulse after seeing an advertisement. I had no idea they existed. So first off, I have to say the concept of keeping in touch through a light is brilliant! I had the pair shipped to my home and kept one and shipped the other to my dad. I am in NY, my dad is in NJ. There is a set-up tutorial from Filimin on Youtube- for you visuals. Otherwise there is simple step-by-step instructions that will come with your light. The lights are shipped in great protective packaging. The light works by Wifi, so each person that has a light has to have private wifi. The light itself is personally crafted with the name of who put it together written on the bottom of your lamp! 0: :) The colors to choose from are plentiful and very rich/luminous. It makes for great decor as well as its function of keeping you in touch with your loved ones. After you set-up your lamp, you invite other people who have a lamp to join your group on your filimin registration page. This is done by simply sending an e-mail. So, after wifi, you do have to have your loved ones e-mail. If you get at-all stuck or confused, the Filimin site offers their assistance by phone or e-mail. I can personally say, their customer service is great. You do have to wait about an hour for a response, but they help you until your light is set-up and running for those of you not too tech-savy (even though you don't have to be to own one of these). It was helpful for me to write down my Dad's Filimin ID before mailing it to him- so I can talk with Customer Service. I did order another lamp as a single and directly mailed it to my aunt from Amazon. Single lamps have the same set-up and instructions. I do plan on buying more as time goes on. They are a little pricey, but its uniqeness makes up for the price. I am really satisfied with this product and customer service!
