I got this for my recent abdominoplasty with muscle repair and liposuction. Though this is REALLY a nice binder, it isn’t tall enough on its own to reach from under the breastbone all the way down to below the abdominal incision. Thankfully I have a second, more narrow binder that I can wear in conjunction with this to cover the entire area, but I just want users who might be looking at this for that purpose to know this may not be the right binder for the immediate post operative period. That said, this will also be a great binder for me when I am traveling several weeks post op and just want some additional abdominal sho it don’t necessarily need top-to-bottom coverage. This will work well in addition to compression garments to provide that additional temporary support. Now - it’s actually advertised as a post partum binder and for that I’m sure it will be perfect. The binder is soft and flexible while also being firm and supportive if that makes sense. It’s very well made and doesn’t rely on boning for support which often ends up poking through the material. In addition to the more than adequate Velcro closure on the ends of the binder, there are also two adjustable straps coming off the back that you can use to make it even tighter or looser depending on your needs. You can also secure them at any place on the binder which allows you to target specific areas for additional compression. This also allowed me to AVOID areas like my drain insertion sites where I did not want to have any additional compression. I was unable to put my binder on by myself until post op day 4. After that, I was very easily able to apply and adjust this myself very easily. I have put this through the wash a few times already (the pics are from when it had just come out of the washer, in fact) . I have been washing It In cook water, making sure the Velcro is secure before putting it into the washing machine. Then I hang to dry. It seems more than strong enough to handle the actual dryer an even washing on hot, but I don’t want to do anything that might break down the elastic and since this washing method is working for me and it doesn’t get dirty or smelly, I’m going to keep doing it this way. This is a really good value and I’m glad I have it in my post-operative care arsenal.

I purchased this postpartum abdominal binder in size M, even though I’m not using it for postpartum purposes. I bought it mainly to help with abdominal support and posture, since my midsection tends to feel very loose, and this binder has worked extremely well for that. First, I really like the color and the overall quality of the material. It feels well-made and breathable, which makes it comfortable to wear for longer periods. One of my favorite features is the rigid support pieces in the back. They provide excellent lower back and posture support and help you feel more upright. The first time I wore it, I honestly felt taller and much more aligned. These rigid supports do not dig into the skin at all. They’re well covered and padded, so the binder feels comfortable and supportive rather than stiff or uncomfortable. The closures are high-quality hook-and-loop fasteners that are easy to use. They’re not the bulky, annoying kind that stick to everything, and they make putting it on and taking it off quick and simple. The straps stretch nicely and adjust well to the body. For reference, I’m 5’5” and around 170 lbs, and the size M fit me perfectly. Overall, it provides great support, improves posture noticeably, and feels comfortable and secure. I’m very happy with this purchase.

“Put me on the faja” (Cardi voice) — YES PLEASE. This is an absolute postpartum must-have. It’s supportive without feeling suffocating and adjusts as your body changes, which is huge during recovery. I love that it’s breathable enough to wear under clothes and actually helps with posture and core support. Just a heads up: don’t use this immediately after birth, wait until you’re cleared, but once you are, this is perfect for healing and feeling more like yourself again. Comfortable, effective, and worth it.
