This is a decent inflatable punching bag. But it's the same as all the others, I'm not sure what makes it heavyweight. It is nice that you can fill the bottom with water and/or sand and also inflate it. You don't have to fill it full, just enough to keep it balanced, but not so much that you can't move it. It's pretty durable though. We've kept it outside and it has survived in cold and snow and sunshine. I guess I could probably confidently bring it inside now, not worrying about water leaking out of it! My kids didn't enjoy it as much as I thought they would at ages 10 and 12. Also, the gloves that come with it are like toddler sized so if your kid is older than four they might not fit. And my kids have really small hands. It is a pretty good workout, and functions pretty well, I just don't know that it's any heavier duty than others so don't spend more just to get the heavy duty. ... show more

This inflatable punching bag is perfect for our 8 year old. It's easy to inflate; just add some water or sand to the bottom, and fill the rest of the bottom with air. Once the base is complete, fill the top with air, and you're done! It's pretty sturdy with water, though sand will make for an even more stable base. There are 2 plastic handles integrated into the base to make carrying easier too. The included boxing gloves are fine for my son, though I think 8 or 9 years old is probably about the limit with this based on size of the gloves but also the bag. It's a great starter set for punching or kicking and can be used as a stress relief if you're so inclined. Longevity is yet to be seen, but it's sturdy enough to hopefully last a decent while. Would recommend for kids 9 or below. ... show more

It's fun, easy to set up, and perfect for letting them burn off some energy. The design is nice, and it holds up pretty well to all those punches and kicks. It does lose a bit of air over time though, so you'll need to top it up every now and then. Not a big deal, but worth noting. My kids kept popping those clown inflatable punching bags, but loved them so I wanted something more sturdy they could punch and knock around. I got this based on its description of being sturdy. I put some water in the base, though I think I want to fill it with sand instead. My three kids ages 7, 4, and 4 absolutely love to beat this bean bag up. The two little ones are in a karate class and they can even practice their blocks as the bag swings back toward them a bit. It’s a great way for them to get out their energy and their anger. The material seems much more sturdy than kid punching bags we have had in the past. It feels more like bounce house construction so I think it’s going to be much more durable. I like the handles on the base. It’s very helpful when needing to move the inflated bag. I put a nonslip mat underneath it to keep it from sliding across the vinyl floor when they hit it. My 12-year-old child told me that this boxing bag is too light, the speed of each punch rebound is too slow, the following base added water, the above sandbag is just a hollow air bag, hard strike will shake badly, not continuous fast punch, more suitable for children under 10 years old to play. The quality is still ok, it has been full of gas for almost a month now, there is no air leakage, it is easy to add water and inflation, because the water inlet has different sizes superimposed together.
