I chose this product mainly because my son (13) had big problems with the police. We have two Surrons and one Talaria dirt bikes, but according to current legislation in Las Vegas, it is very problematic to use these bikes for the daily commute to school. I liked FreeGo as an ideal alternative with legal status. It clearly meets the requirements for Class 3 e-bikes. Since then, my son has had absolutely no problems, even though he has been checked by the police several times. We both fell in love with this bike from day one. I even prefer it to Surron and Talaria. When riding off-road, I find it more stable and easier to control. In general, there is nothing to criticize about this product. The motor provides sufficient power for active riding, the brakes are precise and reliable, and the suspension selection is ideal. The battery capacity is amazing, and we have never had any problems on longer trips. Since I ordered just before Christmas, I was in contact with the dealer from the very beginning, and I must say that the communication and organization of this company is top-notch, and I always felt like a valued customer. Thank you, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about a legal street version of an electric dirt bike.

The Freego X2 is seriously powerful and fun to ride. The acceleration is strong and it handles off-road really well. Suspension and brakes feel solid, and the removable battery is super convenient. Definitely a great option if you're looking for a fast and reliable electric dirt bike.

The bike itself is a beauty! I bought it for my son as a Christmas present, he was shocked! After about two weeks, the bike started giving an error code. Contacted Freego Bikes directly and let me tell you the outstanding customer service I have received from them for the error message. After running diagnostic tests and providing the results, they are sending new parts.

When we purchased this bike there were some issues. We contacted the Seller who sent replacement parts and kept in touch with us as we made the corrections. Bike was a great purchase and is in great working order. Even in the snow this bike is reliable and well worth the investment.

Let me start with, I would only give 4 stars because my bike arrived with a damaged fork. BUT after contacting them and sending photos within 3 hours I had a reply that they would send me a new pair of forks with one word: "Understood.". 5 star customer service. Now the 4 star, packaging could be a little better. I feel like with the weight of this it almost needs a wooden frame to really be secure. Assembly was pretty easy, you can put it together with the tools they provide and instructions are clear, was missing a single screw for the headlight but stole it from the front fender and works fine with a washer. Has front and rear light, headlight is decently bright at night. In eco mode it goes 26mph legally with me, and I weight around 245lbs on a good day. In sport mode this thing RIPS dude. I've got it up to 51mph on level ground, I'd imagine someone lighter is going to go faster. Bike handles great, feels a little springy but it's comfortable. Kickstand rattles slightly but I believe can be tightened or removed. Pedeling is possible but feels abnormal because of how wide the frame is, possible for sure, just bear in mind this is kind of heavy at over 100lbs, I feel it still moves easy under pedal though. Battery life for my size is great I feel. I commute 10 miles to and from work and have 3 bars when I'm home. Brakes feel adequate and will skid tires if needed to stop fast. Twist throttle feels accurate and consistent through the power band, it is extremely torque-y. I'd say someone 5'8 and taller would be comfortable, but at 6' my knees are just below the handle bars. If you're considering this for a kid that is less than 16 I would choose a different bike, this one will come out from under you if you're not planted on the seat, it's fast. 10/10 experience, 8/10 shipping, 10/10 customer service.

Purchase was smooth through Amazon, great bike for my 16 yo who loves it. There was a wiring issue with the headlamp but have promptly been shipped a new one. Highly recommend this product and vendor!!
