The main reason I got the blue instead of the black was because the picture on Amazon shows a metallic blue bike with black markings... In reality it's a baby blue color with white markings. I would have just gotten the dark grey one and saved money had I known. The battery drains quickly. Charged it fully before taking it out and I get about 25 miles per charge. Contacted customer service to see what they say and will update the review when I hear back. On a positive note it is fast, sturdy, and handle's well. Update: I've owned it for a couple of weeks now and after doing the battery test suggested by customer support, we have come to the conclusion that the battery is working as it is intended, however the range is only about 30 miles per charge riding mostly PAS 1 and 2 on mostly flat land. Maybe I would get the listed range if I was in PAS 1 and pedaling on flat land. So it might be possible but somewhat misleading. ...New update. After 56 miles of riding the brake sensor stopped working so the motor keeps turning if the throttle is twisted while applying the brakes. This may be good for wheelie's but not good for beginner riders who want safety. Also the charge port cover on the battery broke. Not a big deal, just need to be sure the port is clean and clear before plugging it in. I will continue to update the review as issues arise. We got this bike for our son and just assembled it. Assembly was pretty quick, took less than an hour. The build quality appears to be good. Components like the wheels for example are sturdy and heavy. The acceleration in quick, especially in the paddle assist mode 3. It is very silent.
