This is for confinement, not protection! The mesh is cut with household scissors. This was put up by one person, it wasn’t difficult. I’m using it as a prison for mean girls right now. I plan on putting them all in to keep them safe from hawks. But it’s a vicious jail-yard type setting and my girls aren’t liking it. Packages came in, one with torn end flap. One of the frame pieces was missing. Used the Amazon "Problem With Order" button to contact seller. Noted the specific piece and requested replacement. Approximately 4 days later the correct replacement piece arrived. Also of note, this transaction occurred over Easter weekend. I thought it might get lost in the shuffle, but made it through. The Chicken run is now complete and is a very nice addition to the yard. Frame took less than an hour to assemble with two people handling things. Wrapping the hardware cloth is somewhat more involved, but still pretty simple with two. Can be done by one person, but I would expect some muttering and an expletive or two during construction. ... show more

This run was an absolute nightmare to put together. The wire covering is very flimsy and can be chewed up by a predator in a hot second. I ended up having to buy hardware cloth which was another nightmare to put together. I should have gone with the more expensive and protective set up. You get what you pay for ... show more

Great quality and efficient customer service and support. We have some issue with the gate/door gape. They responded very fast and willing to help and resolve the problem! If we need another coop, we will for sure to purchase from this seller again!! This coop is very steady and spacious, enough for our flock of chickens! We will do more enforcement to the bottom alongside the coop base to prevent the digging problem either by the chicken from inside or raccoon/coyotes from the outside. ... show more

Arrived a lot faster than i expected (good part). Began reading through instructions. They don't appear confusing. (Also good) Started taking components out as directed. Uh oh. Most of metal poles are not there (bad part) Messaged the company via amazon. Will update as this develops.

USELESS!! Lost my flock to this shoddy "hardwire" today. Predators were able to chew right through in no time! Like cardboard! (I had reenforced the bottom of the pen with actual hardwire from the hardware store, and they weren't able to get through that.) Save lives and DO NOT BY THIS!
