I thought the flavor was very pumpkin very spice! I enjoyed mine extremely cold! These are no weird, chalky or aftertaste. I also mixed into a smoothie with a little ice and skim milk. This was a wonderful protein treat which was super convenient and definitely a great value for price.

First I must say Premier Protein is by far the best tasting of the protein shakes out there and most flavors, including Pumpkin Spice, have no nasty after taste, which is a common issue with other brands of protein shakes. It is the only brand I use anymore. I also appreciate the nutritional value as 1 shake has 25% of the recommended daily amount of each of the essential vitamins and minerals. I also enjoy such a variety of flavors. I was however slightly dissapointed with Pumkin Spice flavor as I had expected it to have stronger concentrations of pumpkin and the pumpkin pie spices. The flavor in it is quite subtle in comparrison to other flavors of this brand. In fairness, that may be a result of keeping the carb and sugar count down ( as using more pumpkin would increase both ) and with less pumpkin, more spices would potentially be overpowering and lead to an undesireable after taste. Overall it is an excellent product, which I will continue to enjoy. I do have to watch carefully as the price fluctuates and is often too high. I stock up on each flavor I like when the price is down and tend not to purchase it when the price is up. The price fluctuations are different with each flavor and do not seem to have any rhyme or reason. I noticed that "easy to hold" is a category for rating this product. In this area they do excellent. I have a friend who is quadraplegic and has contracted hands, and he can hold the bottle and drink it with a straw without dropping or spilling it. Premier protein bottles are the only ones I know of that are shaped so well that he can do this. ... show more

normally this pumpkin spice product is very good; however, the last shipment I received was 1/2 pumpkin spice & 1/2 peaches & cream. At first, I was excited to try a new limited edition flavor until I did try it. The peaches & cream flavor was terrible.
