Description
Next Generation of FoxAlien Masuter series Is it compatible with other brands' CNC machines? It depends on the plugs. FoxAlien relay module supports terminal plugs and aviation plug. Notice: the aviation plug should be 2-pin. It is NOT compatible with 3-pin aviation plug. Can this relay be used just as a outlet extender? No, basically it is a relay module, not a outlet extender. This relay module is based on CNC machine signal. Without connecting a CNC machine, it cannot be activated. When I connect all the devices, the relay still can't work. How can I fix it? Make sure that spindle speed is set to maximum in the software. For those with controller box, make sure the spindle speed knob is turn to maximum speed. Is it compatible with VFD spindle? No, it is not compatible. Please purchase the PWM relay model separately.

Plug and play for FA CNC. After upgrading to this proper router, this allowed the software control to start and stop the router. Works fine as exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s just too bad. It feels super cheap and plastic.

Exactly what I wanted

I am using a router in place of the factory spindle on my Masuter Pro CNC machine. I didn't mind turning the router on and off by hand but without something like this if you have to hit the emergency stop button the router keeps going. So far this solution has worked perfectly for me. The price point is reasonable too. The plastic housing seems a little cheaply made but for my purposes as long as it works I really don't mind.

It's a total disappointment.

Spontaneously turns itself off. This leads to very expensive repairs. It worked fine for the first few weeks, but after that it spontaneously shut down and the spindle (800watt) stopped. Of course, this caused breakages and ruined an expensive workpiece. It worked fine for another week. But again it spontaneously shut down. And again it happened again. And then again after that. The quality is total crap. That put a permanent end to FoxAlien. The CL 6065 CNC machine we use is terrible. We bought it from the factory. It's a total disappointment.

Much needed unit to use an AC powered router

If you plan to use the 65mm router adapter with a palm router on your Masuter Pro, this auto switch is key in powering on/off your AC powered router. Simple to use and just connects to your existing power port on the control box. It also has an extra AC outlet to also power on/off a vacuum. There’s no extra programming to use this, just plug ‘n play, and it works really well. I’d recommend it!
