I live in an area that doesn’t get much snow nor thick ice. However, we often get a thin layer of ice on the car windows. Regular scrappers just don’t work very well on thin ice and I lack the patience to sit in the car and wait so I gave this a try this morning. This funny little item took care of the ice fast and easily. It’s easy to hold and much less pressure is required than flat scrapers. Also the footprint is larger so more ice is cleared per swipe. This is day one so we shall see how it ages but I am impressed so far.

Almost wrote a bad review because I thought it wasn't working like the review video. PRO TIP: Turn your windshield heater on before you start. This will melt the under-layer of ice holding it tight to your window. Next is to take the spiked end and scrape the ice down to the glass layer and create an area large enough to fit the big cone end on the glass. This allows the edges of the cone to dig under the bottom layer as you push around. If not, you're just scraping the top layers and will be frustrated. Great product! Very easy to use and did not leave annoying streaks or random ice patches. Only a 4 star though because the spiked end is incredibly flimsy and falls off constantly.

These are fine. They work. But when you have a typical ice scraper with a brush you don’t really want to break out another tool to be honest. Easy to put together, make sure you wear gloves/mittens.

There was nothing magical about these ice scrapers. I thought I was buying a unique cool gift, but I was wrong. They don’t work.

This was inexpensive so I got it to give it a try. We had a case of rain, wet snow, snow, wet snow then cold freeze. We were going skiing the next morning for a day trip, so I continually cleaned off one of my cars to do a day trip of skiing. The scraper on the end of the brush was easy to get this car road worthy the next morning. The other car, I did not touch until we got home from skiing that night. The windshield, windows and back hatch was a combination of frozen snow and ice. I thought it would be the ultimate test of a scrapers worth. First up was the Magical Scraper. This did you a relatively good job of removing the frozen snow, but never got through the base layer, scraping the glass completely clean. Nor could it remove the beads of ice frozen to the glass, the magical cone just bounced off it. The other side scratched up the icy residue that was under the frozen snow. But when I flipped it back to the cone, it did not remove that final layer. I switched to my trusty had ice scraper and it finished the job without issue. I also tested it on a couple of the windows I had not touched with the magical cone and it blasted through the ice and frozen snow. I am sure this would work fine in typical snow or frost, but it did not work on the ultimate test so I cannot recommend it for the variable weather of New England. I did not have the car running or defrost when I ran this test purposely.
