I used this hose for multiple tools in my small shop, cutting it into smaller sections. There is nothing worse than fighting with non flexible hose in a small space. The hose is durable, flexible, and fits all the standard 2 1/2 inch ports. Definitely an upgrade for me and what I do.

I have it suspended from the ceiling and hanging over the work bench. The 5.5 HP shop vac works well with the hose and I found end fittings on Amazon. This hose is surprisingly strong and stretchy, just as the manufacturer claims. It also has a certain grippy quality to it, which helps it remain secured to fittings (which is almost sufficient to the point that you might be tempted to forgo hose clamps). I really like that it's clear, because with the black vacuum hose I had been using for dust collection previously, if something got stuck in the hose, it was always a bit of a mystery as to what and where the problem was. With this clear hose, there is no more mystery. I will be buying more of this hose as I add more woodworking tools to my arsenal. ... show more

I bought this 20' hose to use in my large (800 sf) woodshop. 20' is a lot of hose to have laying on the floor, but if you have a setup where you can easily hang it out of the way when not in use then it's really handy for reaching pretty much anywhere. Seems to be pretty good quality.

I added fittings to both ends of the 25' hose to use with my Dust Deputy and shop vac for dust control while grinding mortar joints and cleaning chimneys. The length enable us to keep the vacuum on the ground while working on scaffold. The fine dust did accumulate quickly on the sides, but as we had no obstructions this was not an issue. It is extremely flexible which facilitated movement. It does shrink in length slightly when the vacuum is on, but not enough to interfere with the work after we secured it to the scaffold with a Velcro tie. Get that shop vac whine away from you and clean up the workplace faster. The hose is well-made and won't collapse even if you step on it. You have to buy the hose ends and clamps to attach it to your shop vac, but you won't regret the investment.
