    • Perfect replacement remote
I bought the Samsung TV for which I needed this remote back in 2009. The original remote worked for the most part but some of the buttons were not responsive, so I really needed a new one. This one works great and is a bargain for the price.

    • It works, but not impressed
Not sure if this will show up as 3 or 4 stars as my browser is acting funny, but should be 4 stars. It worked immediately upon installing batteries as others have mentioned. I have an older Samsung smart TV from 2019, Ibelieve it's the UHD series so pretty basic. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it feels cheap compared to the original and response is pretty slow and clunky when I use the buttons. After I ordered, I realized there are part numbers on the front of both remotes in very tiny font below the bottom buttons. The one I ordered initially appeared to be an exact match, but now I see the buttons and part numbers are slightly different. My original remote was acting funny so I ordered this as a backup. The original is working fine now thankfully, but I will keep this one just in case due to the cheap price as it does technically work, but would be annoying to use full time. Sorry I can't explain the issue with the buttons, they are just off a bit, like you have to push just right to get the tv to recognize them. ... show more

    • Lighted Remote is Ideal
My original remote has raised dots on the enter key, which makes it easy to navigate on the dark. A lighted remote would be ideal.
